Radio silence after biometrics - normal ?

Hi everyone,

I filed an I751 to remove my conditional residence in June 2016 with the Vermont Service Center. On July 18, I went in for my biometrics appointment and haven't heard anything back since.

As far as I know, I haven't received any further correspondence asking for more evidence or requesting an interview. I've also used the Check Status tool, and it doesn't tell me anything other than the fact that they sent me my biometrics appointment.

My question is: is it normal to go this long without hearing anything? I'm getting a little worried that I missed something !

Thanks!

It regularly takes a year or so for I-751s to be adjudicated.

Don't worry.  It is taking up to and sometimes over a year to have your case completed.  Vermont is super behind.  If you search thru the conditions removal forum you can get an idea of people's time frames.  Buckle up for the rest of the ride lol.

It is normal for VSC but online status won't change until the new GC is ordered. Approval notice, (if any) RFE, interview communications would all come in regular mail, online status won't show these.

Yeah it took about 10 months for my wife's ROC to be completed. Just keep checking online and the mail box to see if there are any updates. If it becomes a year without anything then I would really start complaining and raising cain.
