Filing I-751 with separate bank accounts

I am putting our I-751 package together and have quite a bit of evidence with our names attached - rental and car insurance, power bills, medical cards, beneficiary information on retirement and life insurance plans, etc. The problem is that we are using separate bank accounts both with the same bank (USAA). Her's is a joint account that she saves her paycheck too for school tuition and sundry items like gas and such, and I use mine to pay the bills. So how should I handle this as far as financial evidence is concerned? I have included her 1098-T and tuition payment statements for support evidence since it has our address on them. Should I say something in the cover letter? She wanted it like this (her mom and dad do it this way) and we most likely will not change it (she has my account login credentials if she needs). We have made no big purchases since we are waiting for her to graduate before we do so. What advice can I get from the hive mind on how to handle this issue?

I was filing for roc last year and had a similar situation, separate bank accounts as that is how we are both used to our parents doing it. We included similar things to that you have mentioned, plus the apartment rental agreements. I was approved without an interview for roc and no rfes. Only difference is we do have a mortgage for about three months of our evidence but I am not on the power bills.

Thanks much for the replies! Should I even include past bank statements? If yes, from both accounts, single account? Or just show that we have accounts at the same bank?

Just add a sheet of paper that explains that you maintain separate bank accounts and give a general explanation for why.  You have lots of good evidence.  Not all couples combine bank accounts.  Include bank statements from the inception of your marriage (all pages) for both accounts since I'm assuming they are coming to the same address.  It's up to you whether you include ALL statements or quarterly statements.

Best of luck!
