Sorry to ask two questions in one day but everyone was so helpful my last one is already answered and I have another!

I am anxious to begin the process ASAP however my fiancé in South Africa is thinking perhaps of not wanting to come over until December due to some family health issues over there etc.

Based off common timelines if we start our K1 now-ish it should be approved August-ish?  That's using the 6 month timeframe.

The question is we have 90 days once she arrives here in USA to get married.  BUT does she have to immediately come over?  Could she hang onto her visa until December and start the 90 countdown from that point?

No matter how you plan it, something will come up. Once you start the process, it's a commitment.

Based off of current timelines, you should be ok to start the process now. It will take you a few weeks to get all the paperwork and supporting documents. From approval, you have six months to enter the US and the 90 day countdown starts at POE. From entry until AP is issued (3-4 months after your AOS is filed), your partner won't be able to leave the country without completely abandoning the immigration process. It's a big commitment and unfortunately, things can come up in life back home that they might miss out on. It's the sacrifice you make to be together.
