WCG (childless) denigrated our dishwarsher because it takes two pushes on the Start button to start it, si man.

We told him that this was brilliant design, anticipating little toddler fingers that like to punch buttons, reality man.

New TV has no visible buttons to push.

 

This is good news for the TV and for our eardrums as toddlers also enjoy raising the volume to ungodly highs.

According to Mrs. T-B., "Spanish people" view talk about drafting a Will as thinking about dying, mystifying man.

 

Amigo of ours (age, 2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2]+2+2 years) had a heart transplant years ago; this heart failed; he's been hospitalized since December waiting for another; he's slowly weakening; he has a wife & Manyage son; and Mrs. T-B., who visited them, wouldn't ask them if he has a Will, no she man.

 

Good grief, man:  the first thing that we did after we married Mrs. T-B. was to draft Wills, relevant powers of attorney, et al., necessary for life man.  The surest way to get one's family to curse one's name intensely and forever is to die intestate, will-less man.

 

How can we broach the topic with amigo & wife, huh man?

Me either. I've got a Mother in law.

We are having medication confusion this morning. In the space of 15 minutes she has come in to where I am sitting to ask me about what she takes, why she takes it, what one is making her cough. Seems her helpful Chemist suggested she stop one, and switch it for another. The trouble is, she doesn't remember which one is the apparent  culprit. She has it in her head that even though she told me when she came back from the chemist that her hypertension med is the issue, she now believes it is her thryroid med that is the 'bad' one. I've explained it, and in the end I called the Chemist back, and it is for hypertension. So she wants to get that new one right now, and cannot understand that she has to wait to confer with the Doc. This is going to be an all day project.

 

And all of this on no caffeine so far  :/
