2 hunnit bucks, rotors and all.

That is about what they charged to do it.

It also needed new spark plugs, a tranny and transfer case flush, oil change, and a new assembly on a rear light.

Probably could have done without them charging to see what the check engine light was about.

Tail light assembly, used 40 bucks. 5 minutes labor.

Plugs, little hard to reach. 70 bucks, with wires. 1.5 Dutch hours labor.

OBD-2 scanner. 70 bucks, read codes all day long,  but you have to translate to Dutch.

Flush, you don't have the machine. 2 hunnit bucks.

Our trucks are similar. I speak from experience.

I knew the code at one time, I think we even had a discussion about it then.  It is basically a false code caused by a fuel sensor that is perfectly fine but is reading as malfunctioning.

Yeah, the Dane could do all this stuff, but he is also working 60 hours this week doing hard physical stuff and he has to jackhammer more in our basement on Sunday, his only day off.  It is kind of a trade off with time.

Perhaps I should trade him back in for the other Scando who was a diesel mechanic.  Then, of course we'd need to call a plumber from time to time...

Should have just gone with polygamy.

Tales of being a tattoo artist presents:

It gives me a strange sense of satisfaction saying''I told you so''when a client realizes that rib tattoos hurt like hell.

Having to stop and they wishing the tattoo was somewhere else, like I suggested in the first place. Oh , clients.

At times, it is nice when my husband isn't around.  I love him, but honestly, I only get half of what I need to get done when he's home.  Just when I'm done giving the kids attention, he wants attention!

Do they always tell you that they have a high pain tolerance beforehand and then cry like a little girl?

I can only imagine! we don't have kids yet which makes things easier, but I bet its 1000 times the work. Love doesn't mean tolerating the person we love all the time. We also need space and time to relax, on our own.

haha yes. They are always so confident, it is endearing. Some people can manage it, but when it's your first or second tattoo and you don't know what you're in for, I know you most likely won't be able to handle it.
