Nola ah yes, back when they tried.  I recall one such argument with hubs.  Men should only ever do things at a beginning of a relationship they are willing to do the ENTIRE relationship.

Sadly speaks to your relationship more than anything else.   Those sorts of things are only on the increase after 5 years here.

There is a lot that goes into the why here and I think a big part of it is self confidence or rather cockiness on his part. He gets a lot of positive attention in America and listens too much to the guys he hangs around with.   Our relationship dynamics have changed, but it isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Now that I know what I know about circuses, I wish I'd never been taken to one as a child.  Im glad they're shutting down. 

I enjoyed cirque du soliel immensely in Vegas.

I enjoyed cirque du soliel immensely in Vegas. 

 Cirque du Soleil is amazing.  I've only ever seen it on TV, but I rather that than a regular circus too.

I kept this in mind, Tbone, at 0316 am, when we had to go back into the shelter. Could not locate the red shoes, alas, although I did have a good grip on the dog.

 

There was considerable damage about 4 miles from here, houses that don't have a roof this morning, trees and power lines down blocking the roads. There is a roof on a front lawn in Higginson that doesn't appear to belong to anyone in the area. Looks like our area only got a glancing swipe. I've about an hours work out there, cleaning up the small branches and other litter. I have a rubbish bin that isn't mine, and a lawn chair from somewhere else.

Is this your normal tornado season?  Does it last all year?   Ours is really only 2-3 months long and it is small tornados.
