If I were you, I'd organize a political movement in protest of these chicken rules. 

Hold massive rallies and protests. And some looting...break in to the bait store or something.

dog ate 2 pairs of underwear in two days.  I either have to buy like 3 more cheapo baby gates or two laundry baskets with close-able lids.  Wonder which is cheaper....  Either way it's cheaper than the 6 pairs of underwear he's already eaten because unlike Tbone, I buy mine new, and they're not from the dollar store, or walmart clearance.

Every male dog I've ever owned has done this before they're neutered to be honest. So we would just use baby gates or laundry baskets with lids.  I have a lot of doorways in this house.  i'm trying to figure out the more economical option that both of us will actually stick to.  Obviously remembering to just close the bathroom door doesn't always work because the cat needs to get in there.  I have a cat door for the door, but I don't have a jigsaw to cut a hole for said cat door.  I may have to see if I can borrow one, but still, if someone forgets to close the door... sigh...

I think two more baby gates at $20 total on amazon is probably my cheapest option unless he starts jumping them.  But he hasn't shown any inclination of doing that despite a good amount of vertical ability (as evidenced by toy chasing.)  It may be more than that though.  We want one for the kitchen doorway, I'd need one for the downstairs bathroom doorway, and a large one for the den doorway. I have one now so just one for the bathroom and one for the den which is wider than a normal doorway.

Either way is an unnecessary expense, because (1) we don't have dogs, and (b) we don't buy edible underwear, oj nie and nie Niki-B. ma'am.
