Are you going somewhere she needs hep a?  I went to Mexico so we got it but otherwise I never would have bothered.  I always thought it was a localized thing but I havent researched it other than for that trip.

It's just a standard shot here as they get ready for school.

The new children's schedule for vaccine has it as standard vs when we were young.  Part of that is the increased food and workers we import from Mexico.

Yay! No sugar tax in Santa Fe. There's got to be a better way to fund Pre-K schools. Plus, considering how many retirees live around here, who almost never care about funding schools, this seemed like a massive waste of effort on a doomed cause.

 

Speaking of taxes, I still haven't heard back on my appeal of the 20% raise on my property taxes. @#$%^

 

EDIT: Just to make it clear, I'm not reflexively anti-tax. Just want fair taxes, for myself and everyone else.

I know our pre-K up until this past year used to be partially parent funded, maybe $100/month or something like that.  Compared to the cost of a private pre-K, it is a real bargain.

I bought 3 more Apple trees. There's 15 trees in my backyard that's gotta get planted upstate and fenced in...

These 3 today are 7 footers, in full bloom. They must already be pollinated from sitting near each other,  and if I can get them in the ground, they'll bear fruit this fall...

I seriously did not think we had this much extra stuff on the main floor of our house.  I highly recommend this Konmari thing to any of you.  I purge my books every few months so there wasn't much there, but between clothes, paper items, toiletries, toys, tech, and bed linens - many many garbage bags and probably two car loads full of donations.  

 

I'm not even 1/4 of the way through.
