But I would avoid that back machine... I don't like the crunch machines either.  Do some one arm dumbbell rows, lat pull downs, or cable rows to work your back.  If your gym has a rowing cardio machine, it's really the best full body workout for cardio.  HIIT cardio gets you the best bang for your buck too... 25 mins is all you need. 

 

The issue is more knee bends and now I can't bend my back either, so even body weight squats are usually out.  They don't do ####### for me in any case.  Basically my whole leg is rubbish - I damaged the ligaments in my knee, they think I might have damaged the meniscus (I've yet to go for my MRI which I probably should do), I'm certain the plate is rubbing against some supporting connective tissue, my ankle is just floppy from so many sprains and a break - and the bones in my foot didn't heal right after my broken big toe.   And... at is more of a temporary issue, but I'm 3.5 weeks into this broken pinky toe and I still can't get into most shoes.  I do really stand by the assertion that it would probably be easier with an amputation and a prosthesis, but that isn't really a choice I get to make.

 

I think my body is giving up on life.  I'm going to try this yoga trapeze thing and maybe exercising without compressing my spine and my knee might work.  I might also try bicycling again later this week... that position seems to be ok for my lower back.  My gym is super limited with what it has.

 

Swimming is going to be a no too.

I'll shut up about it after this, but I think my real issue is just that I need to lose 40lbs or so.  I just need to sit on my butt and cut some calories.  It will help the other issues.

Nope, especially since I have to squat like a million times a day to pick up the same duplo that keeps ending up on the dining room floor.  

 

It is annoying because you would think it would be such a minor injury.  I'm glad it is warmer (although it did snow 3 inches this weekend) because I am living in birkenstocks and felt clogs.  I can't even wear socks.

If you want help figuring out your nutrition macros lemme know.  Your knee issues stem from ligament issues and goes downhill from there. Only surgery fixes that unfortunately.  But you can concentrate on upper body and at least build muscle there to help lose weight.

My final dissection is done for my anatomy class and it is the final week week of the semester, yipppeee!

 

And....and.....and.... everyone else's basement is flooded, but ours is not.  Success with the interior drain tile and some other stuff.....
