I get about 3 expired car warranty calls a day. How about you guys?

About that many a week. I get more calls from people telling me my computer is sending them messages and it is broken.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I've spent a productive day.

I feel relieved, and yet quite awful about refusing to allow her back to what is her own home. She could of course change her mind any minute, forget what she  has agreed to. For the moment, we are good.

I had a few similar conversations about my dad at the time.  It is a hard thing to do.  He never ended getting to go back home.

Have they done a brain scan?  My dad used to randomly black out too - turns out it was brain mets.

Not so far, believe it or not they don't think one is indicated. I'm not used to medicine the way it is practiced here. That seems insane to me. Something is clearly awry.

For some odd reason, it was super easy for me to get a brain MRI as part of our fertility testing, but it did take 2 years for them to do one on my dad.  It was only after they had fitted a pacemaker and found out through the logs that there was no heart problem causing him to blackout and get into car accidents.

She has a pacemaker. They interrogated it yesterday and found nothing amiss. You'd think that would make them look further.

She won't be getting into any car accidents. We had to collect her car at the Doc's office, I've got the keys, and she isn't getting them back.

They wanted to see if you had a dirty mind...

Speaking of dirty minds, we haven't heard from, or even scented, Darklar and Frenchy in eons....

OMG how did I not realize that Minnesotans saying things like "for cute" was because for means too in Norwegian.  I even use it that way all the time in Danish.

The kid is driving me nuts with think central again. I suppose I shouldn't complain. I don't know what to make of it. She loves to play with the interactive math. You guys use it?

Not us.  We do math on the blackboard at home.  Math is best done that way.
