08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

Do they have any idea what's going on? Can you ask the doctors to keep her over the weekend to keep watch over her? Seems they need to be if she just keeps going back.

No clue. I'd really prefer they not send her home when they do not have a DX, and she will only have to go back over and over. I know that if she was coming home to an empty house, they'd wouldn't discharge her. The trouble is, I really don't think they are going to find *IT* and be able to cure her. She's 87.  A certain amount of system failure cannot be ruled out.

 

Complicated now, in that my Husband has a polysomnography booked for Monday night. He won't be allowed to go on his own, due to his medical problems, so I have to go and stay as well. Really looking forward to spending a night sat bolt upright in the VA. Trying to work out if I will have to board her dog overnight.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

True. Absolutely. Trying to make her daughter understand that. Hard to do while she is screaming down the phone that her Mother's Doc is an idiot and that the hospital isn't doing their collective jobs. And so, it seems, neither am I.

My kid's school has gained 167 students over the course of 2 semesters. (7 months). Went from under 500 students to over 660. How is this possible? This takes a toll on the resources of the school.

 

1- Word getting out that the school is great, people scamming the correct "zone address" to send their kids there.

2- Influx of illegal immigrants.
