Busy day, si man.

Got Mrs. T-B. to the hospital at Many a.m., on time somehow man.

Place wasn't very busy at all, no man.

First-class, thorough dealings with all parties, impressive man.

And expen$ive, need even more POTS income man.

 

Consorted and cavorted with the rubias as aforementioned, right there in waiting-room man.

Mrs. T-B. not in much pain at all afterwards, didn't tell her too much about the rubias man.

Successfully wheedled Many extra "personal belongings" drawstring bags from nurse, free stuff man.

 

Got out at about half-of-half till 2 p.m., decent timing man.

Dropped Mrs. T-B. at casa, bye she man.

Filled scrips at Walgreens and got other needed stuff there, worked out well man.

Returned to casa in time to retrieve Mini-B. from skool, we retrieve wee man.

Dropped Mini-B. at casa, re-matriate wee with she man.

 

Took Costco credit-card rebate to Costco, stupid to take it elsewhere man.

Picked up stuff plus large salad for Mrs. T-B., getting $2.2x2x2x2 in change from rebate man.

Warshed filthy Mrs.-T-B.-mobile, necessary man.

Returned to casa for roaring 2-hour nap with cat, we and miu zzz man.

Mrs. T-B. appreciated salad, ingest greenery she man.

Gave Mini-B. his bath, jovial/jocular wee man.

Mrs. T-B. lovingly thanked us for our care, looks like rubias will have to wait even longer for us man.

I just paid the inscription fee for the volunteering program at Thailand. 

That means I have to buy the plane tickets soon and plan for my stay in Japan as well,  it is starting to look more and more real. 

 

Many months of working like crazy await me!

Totally inevitable. The only change is going to be for the worse.  She's 87 this year, and spiraling downhill. The only person who doesn't grasp the principle of mortality is the patient herself. She's really in a state of utter disbelief, and says so. Had a pretty charmed life, really. Only child of wealthy parents, spoiled, indulged by all of her husbands. When she couldn't get her way, she threw money at the problem until she could. By fair means, or foul, she's written her own ticket. None of that can help her now.

She's having 'some sort of test, I dunno what' tomorrow afternoon. Nurses tell me it's a cardiac cath. Had nitro, being monitored, waiting until tomorrow for the test. Nurse said they will call my if they need answers to questions that matter, she's unable to give reliable info now.

I called her daughter last night, but it went to voicemail. She rang me back this morning, on a break, but couldn't talk for long, and she can't have her cell phone inside work. She was really more interested in telling me about the cruise she is off on the end of the week. She is her Mother's child.
