Anyone from India who's approved? :)

Please share the process and experience of scheduling medical and visa interview.

Thanks and congrats again!!!

(F)

Once you have your NOA2, you might find it useful to search for threads specific to your country - I have found that old London threads have been very useful for me.  There is probably a thread on VJ for India which will help with medical and interview information.  The London posts were really useful for finding out about the medical - and what the interview might be like.

There is information on the country specific sites from people who have different filing dates but who have either just been through the process or did it a while ago but still offer help and advice.

QUICK QUESTION...THE D-160 PAPER....DO WE COMPLETE IT BEFORE WE RECEIVE OUR NOA2? WE ARE APPROVED SO I AM TRYING TO GO TO THE NEXT STEP...

You can complete your ds-160 now and then it will be one more thing ticked off the list.  You might want to wait untill you have your case number and know that your case is on it way to the embassy before you click 'send' though.  You can certainly get started and have it all filled in before you get the instructions from the Embassy.  I had mine completed but didn't 'sign' it until I knew that my case had been sent to the Embassy.  Also get your i-134 filled in and sent to the beneficiary with the supporting evidence.

I think they probably received it on Monday judging from the timeline of some VJer's timelines that had the same NOA2, but NVC just reopened today but being closed for 2 days due to the snow storm so I only found out today. Hang in there for everyone who's still waiting -- you'll get there! <3

Case left NVC / 03-17-2017

Hello Everyone,

NVC received our application on Monday and issued a case number but when I tried this morning to check the status on their website I get "invalid case number". I tried both immigration and none immigration. this is the link I'm using https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx. any advise?

Thank you.

Maybe same as with the USCIS case number? They needed a bit to get it in their system to work. And wasn't NVC closed for 2 days this week?
