those who have recently had interviews -

 

Were you asked for any evidence of ongoing relationship?  Photos? Screenshots? Call records etc?  It doesn't ask me anywhere on infor from the embassy for this info - wondering whether I need to pull something together.  Interview Friday - I have to fly to London tomorrow

Any CO can ask for it. Some embassies are much more stringent on this. London is very low fraud, so they may not ask for much regularly...whereas many MENA-based embassies normally want the evidence prior to the interview to review it first.

I believe it all depends on the interviewer (or maybe how complicated the case is? Not sure). I sent my fiancée exact copies of evidences I sent in for our I-129F application (photos, copies of flights, passport stamps, etc.) but they didn't ask her for any of those at all. But I've also heard from other experiences where the interviewer would ask for photos at the least. So at the end of the day, I'm guessing that it's better to have some evidences on hand on the day of the interview than not having them at all, in case they ask for it.

thanks @geowrian - we frontloaded the application with a lot of information regarding previous trips and photgraphs (dated).  I have printed a car hire booking that Aaronhas made fo his next trip over here - just wondering whether I should print call records and whatsapp messages too.  Although he completed the i-134 just a few weeks ago so that in itself should prove that the relationship hasn't folded since November.  I can't find anyone on the London interview thread that has ever being asked for it - and it isn't listed on the list from the embassy.

thank you!  i think I'll take a few things - I'll try to get prints of christmas pics at a photo shop tomorrow or on my way on Friday and take some of the older pics - and the car hire booking

That sounds like you should be fine for UK then. It wouldn't hurt to have something (photos/chats/whatever) for evidence from filing to the interview as well in case they ask for it. It's likely not needed...but better to have it and not use it than to wish you brought it afterwards.

 

It will probably never be listed by an embassy (IMHO) since it's such a broad aspect.

I have my interview in London tomorrow, ill let you know if they ask to see any, i am only bringing a few photos as evidence.

Hey!  Good luck for tomorrow - all the posts on the London thread say that the staff who do the interviews are very friendly and that it is not as horrible as you expect it to be.

Thank you! yes, i'm hoping all goes smoothly. Interview is at 11:30 so early morning flight then back again at 5. I'm hoping i'm not waiting too long in the embassy.

I am 11.30 on Friday!  That would have been a turn up if we had both been tomorrow.  I am flying tomorrow afternoon and back on Saturday morning - fortunately my sister lives close enough to stay with her and take a short train ride in.  All the best!  I will be thinking of you x

Thats handy that you can stay there  thank you, good luck for Friday!  hopefully we will both be at the other side of this part of the process by the weekend.

I don't know why we all worried so much for that letter. I never got it. I created the account on the ...travel.gov page and followed all the steps. They created the electronic voucher and i went to the bank with that to pay for the interview fee. Everything went fine.
