Thanks for the chat,. :)

On the plus side, my fiancee will still be coming at the same time...we planned to spend some time in PH first, so this only shifts those dates, but not the pseudo-planned dates for her to be in the US.

yay!! That is the most exciting part. :D go to Cebu and swim with the whales :)

Does anyone know what your invoice number is for?  The NVC employee I talked to last night said we would need to put that on our online forms.  Does anyone know which forms require the invoice number?  Does the DS-160 ask for it anywhere?

Hey MapleLeaf...My finance and I just scheduled our interview, and no where in the DS160 did they ask for the invoice number.

The only numbers that are important are your NVC number that starts with "MTL" (Montreal), your DS160 confirmation barcode number, your Canadian fiance's passport number, and passport book number.

We have yet to use the invoice number given by the NVC call agent at all.

Ive seen posts from different members of the forum that have a dates later than my NO1 get there NO2 approval or RFE's.

Its starting to get me nervous but maybe I should back off and not obsess about all the notifications.

I've seen this as well, and was wondering the same thing. Not real sure on how they choose which files to work on first....

How we met - I figured they would recognize OKC, but assuming they hired/trained new people in Dec/Jan., then this was to be expected. I already have the information needed printed (with a cover letter and such) and ready to send once the RFE comes in. I tried to send it prior but they won't accept more documentation until the RFE is issued.

I'm so happy you finally got something!!!

If they wouldn't recognize OKC, maybe they had problem with my Tinder? Still didn't get a paper copy of my RFE. What exactly did you put in your cover letter explaining OKC?

Maybe? I wouldn't be surprised by anything anymore with RFEs....they tend to be sending them for small stuff recently. As for me, I have an email from their support explicitly stating that they are not an IMB:

This is really the kicker, IMHO.

Meh. My guy isn't really touching the K-1 stuff either, he's a loving and supportive person in other ways, he just hates the paperwork. And yeah, he's the petitioner... :D

Well yeah, I understand not liking the paperwork or even dealing with it much. But the key is still being supportive of, and throughout, the process. The future items (AOS and ROC) will basically require a lot more involvement than the K-1 process.

@geowrian Sorry about your RFE glad they are now working on your case. So, did you work by your received date or by your Notice date  as shown on the hard copy?
