And my case is also in Guangzhou embassy. So I guess that's just their way of doing things now.

Have you guys tried emailing the Guangzhou consulate? I met with the head of Shanghai Visa section for the consulate tonight and she suggested contacting the Guangzhou consulate by email with my questions. I believe they have to answer all questions with a few days.

I'm actually in the same situation. My case is in AP the whole time, ever since I found out my case has arrived at the embassy. Even after I scheduled my interview, it's still in AP. I think that's normal. I would start to worry if the status is still in AP AFTER the interview for a long time. Just my 2 cents.

That's what I wondered -- does status change to AP while you're awaiting your interview? And only AFTER the interview, if it remains in AP, then maybe it's of concern?

My fiancé called the NVC today and they said that our case has arrived, but they haven't processed it yet.  They told him to check back on Friday (one of us will check tomorrow) and they will have a case number for us.  Yay!  I know there are a few people with a February 16th approval who are still waiting, so I thought I would pass along the good news.  If you haven't called for a few days, you should definitely try tomorrow or Friday. :)

That's a question for those who got approved to have a better idea of everything. Let's say that when any of you check on the USCIS website with your tracking number, it says that they received your I-129f on the 21st but then later on the letter it says 25th. Did you guys follow your case by 21st or by 25th when you got NOA2 approved? (hopefully i'm making myself clear haha those are my dates)

I'm also looking for the same answer! As received date for us us 13/12/2016 (noticed they started a few December 12th :D) but noa1 letter says reicept date 17th but that's a Saturday :/

i dont know know which one to go by

aldo congrats to all the recent approvals ?

Good morning all, I received my NOA2 on 2 March 2017. I called NVC today and they don't have a record of receiving it yet. No worries I wasn't truly expecting it to be there yet. I'll call weekly.

In the interim I am trying to gather the remaining documents needed that'll be required to complete the K1 visa

Ive put together a packet containing the following:

USPS tracking card

NOA1

NOA2

employment verification letter from my boss.

W2 for 2016 (haven't met with my cpa yet to do my taxes)

ordered tax transcripts for 2014 and 2015

check stubs for last part of 2017 up to most recent one

copy of retirement account showing last quarterly balance.

Copy of my passport showing when I was last visit to my fiancé

Expedia records showing airline and hotel

i didn't save my boarding passes. I know rookie mistake

and a whole boat load of pictures. Each one labeled with the location and date.

my question is what else am I missing if anything. Embassy is Bangkok.

I don't think you will need transcripts from 2014 and 2015, all finantial documents you need gotta be from most recent tax year, so just 2016 will be alright, unless you didnt fill your tax papers yet. Also, your bank assets may not be needed if you are making enough money at your work (100% poverty guidelines for 2016). You need to fill I-134 Form of course for your fiancee Interview. Finantial papers from 3 recent tax years will be needed for Adjoustment of Status, so you can ask for transcripts now and save it for later. Unless your embassy in Thailand got different requirements.

Correct. For the I-134, only the most recent tax year is required (2015, or you can use 2016 if you have it as you noted). The I-864 for AOS needs all 3. Or if you are self-employed, sending 3 years can be useful as well. Bank assets may not be needed, but I'd send it anyway just in case (no harm, no foul).

Thank you very much.

One more questions;

for transcript of our conversations do they want the complete unabridged version?  We use Line app and we have used Facebook messenger. Within both of those we can video chat. We have a years worth of conversations so I cant imagine the reams of paperwork to print all those out?

How much you send is really up to you, but personally I just printed out one page of messages from every month we were together. That was huge already. haha

Awesome. Thank you. I appreciate it. Too bad the federal government hasn't gone all snowflake and allow everything to be submitted electronically. That way I'd only be annoying  a few millions electrons instead of depleting a forest.
