So Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing great. Been visiting my fiance the past few days, so a bit busy to be on here. :-)

Just called NVC, still haven't received. My NOA2 is 2/16 so just putting that out there to let others know where we're at.

Glad to hear you spent quality time together, it's so precious when going through all of this process.

Well, we're in the same boat it seems. Same NOA2 date and not received by NVC yet.  Uuuuuggghh!!!

Wow that was fast! I just checked my CEAC status today and the case last update field changed from 3/3 to 3/6. So hopefully, they sent my packet 3 out yesterday! :D Do you know if we're required to have a certificate from ROM and if it can be brought by the beneficiary to the interview or needs to be mailed directly to the embassy?

Update me and @Valex on your progress! :)

My CEAC status changed at least twice after they received it on the 02/24/2017 (update on 27/02/2017 then finally on 03/03/2017). I am sure yours is on the way!

I only requested for CENOMAR (and not ROM) via e-census to be sent directly to the USEM (as they do not accept hand-carried CENOMAR).

Will update you and @Valex on my progress! :)

I have been calling the NVC every few days for the past week.  Every time I have called, they have told me to try back later.  Today, however, the NVC employee who answered the phone was genuinely puzzled as to why she couldn't find our receipt number in the system.  She kept checking, re-checking, putting me on hold, trying one more thing, and reading our case number back to me to make sure she had it right (she did this multiple times).  The good news: If you were approved on February 16th, the NVC probably has your case.  The bad news: Ours isn't there.  Part of me thinks our case will be coming in the next batch.  The other part of me fears they have lost it somehow.  Anyway, if you were approved on February 16th, definitely give the NVC a call today.

Hi! I called NVC yesterday (Monday 6th March) and they still hadn't received my case yet, so no number. My NOA2 is 16th February as well. I know of no one else that has their case number yet from the same date, at least I haven't heard of anyone, just hear of people who haven't gotten it yet. I hope we all get them this week.

Hello MenaMariel,

If you do decide to call them, could you share your experience with me either through here or PM me?
We've been waiting over 120 days, I called them after about 115 days (last friday) and all they said to me was that I am in normal processing time because "they are working on September 16th cases".

When is your NOA1 date?

Hello,

I was told the same, our NOA1 was 3rd nov. What about yours ?

Question folks:

I received an RFE stating that my fiance's (the beneficiary) letter of intent was not included.  I'm certain that it was in my package, but nonetheless they want it.

Will USCIS accept a PDF version of this document or should I have mail one to me?

thanks

Not a bad day. :)

Ty  for the update.  I know you said they touched 189 cases but the number of cases touched in your date list is shorter.  Could it be that they are working on cases after Dec 14th? If so, could you please add the rest of the month to your date report?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can print a signed, scanned version from the beneficiary.

The table only covers unworked cases that were touched. The summary section covers all cases that were touched. So if somebody had an RFE and it was touched yersterday, it would be in the summary but not in the table.

Well I was studying at a University 15 minutes away from both his home and his workplace, and I sent them my DS-2019 to prove it. They have addresses of where I lived in the US and all of his addresses because it's all in the i-129f... I don't have any leases because I was subletting at all times, but my Uni hadto pass my whereabouts to the gov everytime I moved so they can see that everything matches.

I even included my I-94. He drove me to the airport. We left the car at JFK and took a subway to Central Park (which took almost 1,5h) stayed there for an hour, had a slice of disgusting NYC pizza, took another 1,5h subway back and I almost missed my plane. Having to prove all of that makes me feel like I made it all up.

Wow. Seems like you did a good job on that then. I have no idea what it could be unless its something simple like forgetting to sign and date a document. Good luck! Please keep the board posted!!

Yesterday our petition was approved. I want to thank @geowrian. In life I try to stay positive, however, as an American who is in love with an African man began to hear the critics; it seemed almost impossible to continue. This community is so positive and it keeps you focused on what's important. As different cultures, different backgrounds, different opinions are all here together, the maturity and the compassion is real. @geowrian thanks for giving hope to the hopeless, thanks for building our esteem when we are low, thanks for packaging the numbers every night as we await for our number to be in the file. Thanks for answering our questions. Last but not least..... THANKS FOR CARING.......your work is not in vain...THANK YOU again...

Good luck with the Visa and good luck with your life in the USA! Remember that there are plenty of Americans who dont care who you love, so keep moving forward and remember that success and happiness is the best "i told you so" to all the critics.

No reason for that. You should definitely call ... or at worst re-file. Ouch.
