We filed Dec 5, we are on day 91. Hoping today is our day :) .

Quick qtn, I was diagnosed with Hep b, I have no complications and the doctor said my liver function is good. I will be going for a follow up check up every three months. does anyone know if this will have a negative effect during the interview?

Thanks

Based on what I have read of others experiences, I thought processing at NVC once you got a case # assigned was only supposed to be a couple of weeks.

However, do bear in mind what has happened to us -- NVC did not even receive our petition from USCIS until 32 days had passed. That is an unusually long amount of time compared to everyone else's experience, which was 2 weeks max.

Believe me, I know it's nerve wracking waiting and not knowing what is going on!

Ugh it's an awful feeling! I call everyday and it makes me sick to my stomach

Wow. February 16th NOA2 date and NVC still hasnt received the application as of today, March 6.  I just called this morning.

That seems extremely slow. Anyone else have such a slow delivery time to NVC?

Thanks!

Wow. I am on day 18 and I thought  THAT was bad. 32 days to get to NVC? I hope it doesnt take that long for us. Its pretty easy for me to wait here in the USA, but my fiancee is having a much harder time because her entire life is on hold....

Trust and believe -- we know how it feels! Waiting is the worst part.

We just got our NVC # assigned today, so it will happen. They're just very slow with some, it seems.

Oh sad to hear that.. wish you the best of health always..

I have read that there's a test called Sputum test they may order of they are doubtful your hepB is communicable/active. These results take 6 weeks to come. Other than that if you can convince them you're fine with your lab reports n xrays, they should have no problem.

Still read up on it and take care of urself...

I filed on November 11. Got first email notification on November 23. On January 11, I got my first NOA 1 letter, receipt fee. I checked online case status. It said, “On March 1, 2017, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number XXXXXXX. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice.” It look like I just got my NOA 2. Now waiting for NOA 2 mail?
