That's a bit odd, I wonder if USCIS even sent it to NVC. I have same date for NOA2. Look at my timeline. NVC should have issued ur case number by now.

I wonder if I should contact USCIS to ask this?  I don't even know where to start.

I wouldn't worry too much. It might just depend where you live. Have you called NVC if they have received the petition?

Ok, so I did call USCIS just now.  They basically read me a line of BS, no surprise.

I asked if they could give me confirmation that my approved petition has left USCIS to go to NVC and he said no.  I asked if there was any way to track it and he never really answered.  Then said once it's approved and leaves USCIS jurisdiction, it is NVC's responsibility.  I pointed out he could not confirm it had actually left USCIS, so it might STILL BE THEIR RESPONSIBLITY.  So, then he diverted the conversation to reading to me about how the K1 process works.  LOL!  I could probably educate him on how it works.

I immediately followed this up with a call to NVC to see if it had been rec'd today.  Nope.

Sigh.  So, we wait.

That's so strange. For most folks, what I have seen is exactly two weeks from USCIS to NVC. Our NOA-2 was Feb. 7th, it arrived at the NVC 2/21, and is already now at the embassy in London. I wish there were some way for you to figure out what is happening with your case!

Hi Guys! Wujjuuu! They are touching December files now! Have a question for those who already got their NOA2's, Any of you are already in the Medical/Interview process?? :)

Yes. Our NOA-2 date was 2/7/17; the NVC received our case 2/21/17, and the London embassy received our (electronic portion of our) case 2/28/17. My fiancée has been able to schedule her medical (this coming Monday) and is still waiting on the ability to schedule her interview (as the embassy has a lag between receiving the electronic portion of the application and the paper copy of the application from the NVC, which is the point when they allow interview scheduling). In the UK, you schedule your own interview at a date and time convenient for you, usually about 1 month out. We hope my fiancée's interview will be first week of April 2017. So once you have the NOA-2 there are so many pieces to assemble and each step feels like one more hurdle down, until we are staring down medical & interview quite soon!

Yes, we feel utterly helpless. It seems everyone gets to NVC in 2 weeks. It's like your I-129F goes into a black hole after NOA2 and nobody can tell you what is happening.

Hi! I had the same question and e-mailed the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) INFO Center. This was their answer:

"Travel to a different country does not affect the K1 visa.  You can enter the US from any country with the K1 visa.  When you enter the US you have to get married within 90 days and then apply to change status.  You need to get Advance Parole or a US permanent resident card before you leave the US."

Hope this was helpful :-)

Sure make sense, just don't go to those seven lucky countries that are on look out now.

Oh, great that they looked at your file. Is probably something simple, send it right away back to them. You may be looking on another 2-3 weeks before approval.

Don't drag yourself down, all is on a good track, you will find out in few days usually is something simple. Before I send in my petition, I thought everything was right, then looking at it for few days before sending it, I still found that original signature of beneficiary was needed.
