Thank you for your experience. It was fun to read. Haha.

So the number 10, we can just tick in the "yes" box or something? I havent approved yet so I cant do the ds160...

in the UK, we can register to make our visa appointment - and there is a screen which asks whether you got a letter from the embassy... If you click yes, it takes you to the screen to register your details... then when you put all your details in, it tells you off and tells you to wait for the letter...

Just wondering for everybody that got their NOA1 and waiting for NOA2, do they have the same status than us when checking on the USCIS website?

On February 8, 2017, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACxxxxxxx , and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by March 10, 2017, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. still waiting on noa2 but curious if you go the the register screen is there a way to bypass the telling off? Or do we actually have to wait for the packet which I also heard doesn't get sent out in the U.K. (Saw it on another forum thread on here)

thanks in advance :)

I think you need to wait.  I got the telling off after I had entered my case number,  I guess i could try again in a week - when they might have sent the letter.

Hi everyone. I have a question. We just received the hard copy of the NOA2 by mail.

Does the petitioner need to send this by mail to the benificiary? Does the benificiary need the original copy?

Thanks,

Madelle

Unless there is a regional rule from the Philippines embassy that states that the beneficiary needs the original copy (Philippines people? Any regional embassy rules that require this?), then no, the petitioner does not need to send the NOA2 by mail to the beneficiary. I would even go as far to say that I would not recommend sending it via mail, I'm sure you can get another copy of it but if that copy is lost I have a feeling you might have go through some hoops to try to get another.

It wouldn't hurt though for the beneficiary to have a copy of the NOA2 to go along with all of the documentation that you will have to send your fiancee for their interview.

Went to my retreat today with my Parish and found out marriage prep class is May 13th and thats the last class that's in Spanish until the fall! I could translate the entire class to my fiancee and we could go to the English class in June, or we could just get married and then go in the fall (Monsignor and Director said thats an option too but not the greatest option). Praying that we receive our NOA2 this week, so we can get this ball rollin' so he can be here in time for the classes!
