I work in IT and I'm 100% for not just document capture and imagining (which they do), but also online forms. That said, it's a disruption to there services in the meantime (getting it built, tested, verified, people trained, bug fixes and new features necessary after launch, etc.) and costs money, so those are factors as well. In the long run, it would likely make things better and faster, but getting there is always a hard sell. :( I worked heavily with document imaging companies over the past decade, and have been converting paper forms to web forms since middle school (not kidding...I still have the invoices!). that said, doing something like this with USCIS is made more difficult not just by the sheer scale of it all, but also because sometimes they need to see the physical documents as well to verify them...and I don't know if even they know which papers that would apply to until they need it.

Haha, me too!  And I have a few govt departments as clients.  Interestingly though, during the one contact we had for our expedite request, they asked for additional information provided us with a link to a site where we could upload scanned copies.  I had assumed this would be the case for RFEs?

Cool. Is there anything else you have besides photos? Photos are still secondary evidence. Yes, Highlighting and sticky notes are permitted to point out things. Also be sure to include a label on every photo: Date, location, who is in it, and a description.

Last time I checked the data I compiled, it was about a week after they acknowledge receipt.

What else can I send am sending a lot.. in addition to the photo.. and I couldn't put exact dates so I wrote Nov, 2016...but I pretty much them everything on their list exculding military orders

I finally got my nvc case number! So what is the next step? My fiance got two numbers I dunno what the other one without the three letters at the beginning is ...he didn't ask!! Anybody give me an idea and what is the importance of the number aside from the case number?

Checked the status at ceac and it says "at nvc"

Hi!

Yesterday my visa application status changed to "In Transit", but I'm trying to track the package in the DHL web page and it doesn't appear any package with destination to Venezuela. What can be happening? :( Am I doing something wrong?

How are you looking it up? This is how I searched mine on DHL...make sure you search by Shipper Reference. Use the following format if you know ship date.

EXP (DAY) (3 LETTER MONTH) (YEAR )A

For example,

EXP 24 Feb 2017A

But first verify ship date from NVC or you can find date on Ceac website.

The three letters in the beginning of case number should be the abbreviation for the Embassy.

For example, mine begins CDJ followed by year and additional numbers. CDJ stands for Cuidad Juarez.

Whats your three letters??

I'll refer to the K1 guide, but if you already have that provided then you should be good. :)

"Copies of all airline boarding passes, train passes, itineraries, hotel receipts, passport stamps (make sure you can read the dates on the stamps), and other documentary evidence that you have met within the last two years."

I highly doubt exact dates are necessary.

I submitted my DS160… well my fiancee did, I'm the petitioner. I didn't wait on that part. Just make sure you use your receipt# from USIC on your DS160. There always seems to be a confusion what number to use, either case# from NVC or receipt# from USCIS. But both are tied up together so I don't think it matters.
