VJ goes by the Notice Date on the NOA1. The scans I run use the date that the case was last touched (which is usually the Receipt Date from your NOA1 for an unworked case).

You could hear any time.  Our receipt date was 11/21 and we got our NOA2 on Thursday.  It can be really frustrating to see people ahead of you get their NOA2 when you haven't gotten yours yet.  Sending lots of positive thoughts your way.  You should get your NOA2 really soon!

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who keeps updating this thread, and to those who provide handy stats and reports.  I was in a seriously dark place a couple of weeks ago, and this forum has really helped lift me out of my funk and give me hope that I could be with my fiance soon.  Much <3 to you all :)

 

PS - did anyone else get the alert on the USCIS app today about the system outage and have their heart leap into their throat thinking it was their approval notification?  I think I almost passed out for a moment, haha.

Oh yes, I know. Its crazy! I've officially just sort of come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to wait the entire 6 months. This way I'm not devastated each day that goes by and I still see "case is received"

We received our NVC case number today - two weeks exactly from NOA-2 on the Case Tracker App. Seems that having had a snow day and a federal holiday yesterday didn't slow them down on their two-week timeline to NVC number. Good luck to others waiting!

Met in college, reconnected five years later. Started a life together in America. ❤️
