@geowrian I'd prefer the cheaper route of a round trip.  I was just curious if it mattered what date I chose for the return, though not returning?  Meaning could I count 90 days away and choose that date?

Ah, it's cheaper for a round trip for you? Ugh...airlines....I will never understand you.

 

The return date shouldn't matter, but be 100% sure to make sure it gets cancelled. The airline could notify APIS (https://www.cbp.gov/travel/travel-industry-personnel/apis2) that you left the country, which abandons your AOS application and would terminate your authorized stay in the US.

My fiance received her Visa in hand about a week after her interview.  This part of the process goes very fast!

@geowrian or anyone else who may have some insight into this.  What is the alien case number that is required for the medical?  Where can I find it?  Is it the USCIS number?  Is it the NVC number?  Am I getting warmer?

I called the non-immigrant line. They did not require passport number, just my complete name, date of birth and my fiance's name and date of birth also.

You may try to call and check.

I hope I understand u correctly, the case number asked for on the medical is the NVC case number. But if u want the Alien number u will find it on NOA2, look on the top right in the third row in the box BENEFICIARY just above ur foreigh fiance's name, thats his alien number

Yes, unfortunately that happens, that one way tickets are much more expensive... But that's a good tip, because it didn't come to mind the fact you should cancel your ticket back. I have to remember to do that in due time, definitely

I pressed 1 then 2. The reps always ask me for the WAC number only then said they havent received it yet.

I just press 1 for english and then i was transferred to a representative.

@visamountain flight is much cheaper with emeriates  its about 700$ one way flight R10.500 one way depending where in the USA you'll fly too

Hello there 
My fiance is closing to  his interview . We've had to use my mom as a Joint Sponsor and she has filled out all of the paperwork and supporting documents
for the I-134 Affidavit of Support 
me and mom in same household and she claim  taxes  for me since  2010 
so the question is, what are supporting documents for my I-134 form? Do i use a copy of her tax papers (1040) which my name is tacken down?
