hey .

i  need help to finish i134 form

its  my mom's  tax papers (Co Sponsor )

she  is sill working and doing  taxes

is  her  total income 28631 or 30329?

my son receives SSI and I receive child support .. Total is 9600  Dollars

Households size would  be 4 including mom, me , my son and my fiance

is it enough or not?

what should i do if its not  enough ?

As per poverty guidelines 2017, it seems like the poverty line for a household of 4 would be $24,600 (100%). So, for the Affidavit of Support, form I-134, your mom's income would be fine. For AoS, however, you'll be required to show 125% of the poverty line, which would be $30,750. So, your mom's income would be slightly below that. I don't know though how the $9,600 factor in there because I am not familiar with child support in general and receiving SSI in particular. https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-864p.pdf

I just called the National Visa Center and again they told me they have not received my case.  The lady said wait at least 30 days, so she recommended I call after April 29th.  I really don't understand why this is taking so long.

I'm in the same boat. NOA2 date of April 6, and NVC still hasn't received our case. I keep getting the "it could take up to 6 weeks", but I know (primarily due to everyone's timelines here) that it could take less. But now it's been 13 business days, and it's getting a little tiresome.

Which number are you calling?  Our NOA2 was April 4.  I called yesterday and got our case number.  They said they received it on Friday.  I called the 0700 number as I found they are more helpful and more patient on that line.  Keep calling.  Hopefully you will get your case number soon!

Hi Arisxx, I know how you feel about getting your case number. Be patient. I was excited about it too but then I thought, once we got the case number, it would take about up to 7 days to ship from NVC to the Us consular in beneficiary countries (accept their countries are close to America). So calling them everyday isnt a necessarily thing to do. We can try to call every 2-3 days. Once our case is ready things going very fast ^.^

In my experience, it only took me 3 days to book the interview since my case was ready. Good luck!

Hi Ashley, I called 603-334-0700. Everyone has been pretty nice, but they always remind me about the 6 week rule.

Thank you, I hope they receive it soon!

Thanks Chi - I called last week, and today. I was hoping to get some good news today, but guess I'll wait for the end of the week to call back.

Same as the primary sponsor (petitioner). That's 100% for a K-1 visa / I-134.

Hello @geowrian!

Just need some of your input for my query.

we are now preparing for the affidavit of support, now my question is on how to count the household size?

my fiance is living with his parents but he said that his parents were not under his dependents.

should we count them to so it woll be total of 4 including me the beneficiary or only 2?

It can be days (usually), weeks (sometimes), months (rarely), or years (very rarely). Assuming there were no issues with the visa application/interview (no 221g issued), then days/weeks is common (barring background checks holding things up, which is unusual for PH).

If they are not his dependents for tax purposes, then they don't need to be counted. I'll defer to this:

Hey Geowria

Question, did you received your packet 3 via email or mail?

Looks like there are still just under 100 untouched cases. Any theories as to why so many November files are still untouched? Did the case workers just decide to move on to December/January without ensuring that November was done? Is there only 1 worker working on November files? Are all of these cases going through security checks (seems unlikely...)?

I feel bad for the November filers who are still waiting...I also fear that I will end up waiting endlessly just like them. :clock:
