Hi! I'm the beneficiary and I have a doubt. On my G325A form (filed on October of 2016) I marked "unemployed", because at the moment I wasn't working, but it was because of a license (or how they called it in Venezuela: an unpaid work permit). That means that I'm still an employee but as long as the license was valid I wouldn't go to the office (of course) and wouldn't get paid (obviously). So since I wasn't going to the office nor getting paid, I marked "unemployed" because for me, it seemed like pretty much the same. I asked for it (the license) to my employer so I could finish my thesis and do my internships (I have now a bachelor's degree in human resources). The license was valid from April to October 2016. On November I returned to my job. Then on December I quit.

My interview is on Friday and I'm worried because when I filed the DS-160 I said that I have worked in that company since January 2014 until December 2016, which is true. But since I marked "unemployed" on the G325A, I'm scared they might think I was lying in some point. I have an employment letter that says I worked there since January 2014 until December 2016, also I have a letter from the company where I did my internships (From May to August 2016). And just in case they ask for it, I will be bringing with me to the interview my venezuelan's tax returns from the past 3 years.

Do you guys think that would be a problem at the interview??? :(

Hi . don't think any one in US embassy will be interested in your employment ,except maybe question what do you do ? US embassy is more likely concern about beneficiary's information about work and income , like US tax returns, and income and assets in USA . Purpose of it so beneficiary don't try to go on welfare or other social service . Even that Trump is stooping those things still it is a concern .

I wonder if there are any demographic characteristics or case complexity issues in the 100 untouched cases that would potentially predict their status. Any of them still here?

Now I see what you are saying. I didn't realize how different the NOA2s are. No, mine says it was sent to NVC. Maybe Qatar has a different process? Makes sense that chauphuong didn't receive anything from NVC after so long. Wish I could be of more help with your situation.

Yeah, with my embassy they schedule for you.  My concern is I spoke to them last week and they have a couple of places left in April, and then none until June ;/  So will only have a day or two to book flights to get to the embassy once it's scheduled if I make April... and our post here only comes 3 days a week.  I will call them later today to check i think (as today is Friday here).  To make it worse there are only 4 working days here next week because of national holidays.

Good luck . In Taiwan they show available dates to choose , it toke 2 weeks for first available one , and it was only 1,5 H ride by train. You better book a hotel to so you could rest before you go for interview .
