This afternoon, I left for a work conference in San Francisco.  I decided that I wasn't going to think about the visa at all -- I was just going to enjoy being in California.  The plane landed, I took my phone out of airplane mode, and the app said APPROVED!!!!!! I almost burst into tears in seat 23B.  I keep checking the app again just to make sure it's real!

This is fantastic news! Congratulations on your approval! Tonight is really turning out to be a busy one for NOA2's.  I hope the CSC continues to keep the ball rolling on these approvals coming in for every one on here.  Congratulations again!!!

The negatives are caused by the addition of the new records added today. They won't appear moving forward.

NOTE: I removed the cases with "approved" and other "final" statuses (Rejected, Denials, etc.)  as of yesterday from my list, and added the remaining ~300 cases from Dec from my original list. If something was missed then let me know.

Wow, lots of activity today. Nice!

Ty Geo. I'm really excited to see they're finally working on late November cases.  Hopefully they will start December files within 2 weeks.  I meant to ask you what the 2 date columns compare? I'm sorry if you already answered this in the past.

Also I'm curious.  Our receive date was December 23rd, but we got our NOA1 dated with January 5th. Should we be considered as a December or January filer?

Thanks in advanced

That is exactly what happened to me! I used FB to video my fiancee and decided to check real quick right after she picked up because I saw a bunch of new VJ posts in my email. It was just before 10PM.....tired from working....I squinted because something looked different....checked it 3x....yeah!

We have the same receive date and NOA1 date.  I have been wondering the same thing.  I have been following the December filers thread but I guess technically we are a January case.  Still loving seeing all these November filers getting approvals.  Makes the wait much less painful!

I believ you'll be a Dec filer if your receieved date is in Dec. I read that uscis handles in order of receieved date and NOA1 date os more for administrative purposes. And even then these both dates are in the same order for all woth sinilar difference between them.

You can still follow both threads and keep yourself updated :)

You're welcome.

The 2 columns are the number of unworked cases ("Case was Received") for the current date and the last run date.

That's really up to you IMHO. :)
