I am a November filer and got a rfe in March send it back and they recived it March 23 in calafornia but still no news or approval. Anybody like me out there. 😔😔😔

I noticed that USCIS doesn't mention anything about forwarding the case to NVC, but to the listed consulate instead. The guy at NVC even said this is weird and he thought that it came to the NVC first. 

 

Now, I already asked my fiancee to check with the embassy tomorrow (its midnight in Vietnam now). Has anyone experienced this situation or known anyone experienced this situation before?

We have the same Noa2. It is also mentioned that it will be forwarded to the listed consulate. 

 

We are planning to call NVC on Friday since it will be the 2nd week from our approval date. 

 

Anyone else got the same Noa2?

Hi, i really think that's how all the NOA2 looks because mine stated the same thing and it still went to NVC. I got my case number 2 weeks after approval.

I tried searching online too and I saw most of the Noa2 has the same as we have received.

Only 1 RFE for Nov. cases today....no approvals. That makes only 100 untouched cases left for Nov. There are 58 touched-yet-not-adjudicated Nov. cases left.

I am getting extremely anxious because most people I talked to said they got their case number in within 2-3 weeks. Now, they were all RFEs though. I wonder if USCIS sorted and shipped different batches of approved cases for RFE and non-RFE. It's just frustrated.

I doubt they separated petitions based upon the existence of an RFE or not...but then again I'm not sure why some take ~2 weeks and others take up to 4-6 weeks. USCIS...

Ah, no difference with normal approvals then...usually once at night around 9-10:30 PM ET.

I'm getting nervous here because our case arrived at the embassy as per DHL tracking yesterday (around lunchtime), and yet, the embassy has obviously not yet scanned our file into the system (CEAC status hasn't change from "in transit" to "ready" yet). Now, granted, this is most likely also due to Easter being a 4 day weekend (Friday and Monday are public holidays) in Switzerland, but I would still like to see some movement, especially because we're hitting the home stretch... And a small part of me is terrified that something has gone wrong (completely irrational, I know). But oh well. I've been getting more and more impatient here over the past year. Also, I know my complaints lack real ground for complaint, and yet, I also know how you guys understand. Thanks for "listening"; sometimes, it helps to just get it out there...
