When I called NVC to get my case number. I copy the wrong number down. The whole time it keeps saying at NVC when In actuality the case was sent over to the embassy since 04/13.

Anyone knows why I can't update my timeline on VC? It keeps saying should I really be here or something similar.

now paranoid as I (beneficiary) printed and signed my G-325a form then scanned/faxed it to my fiancé to allow to allow us to quickly post it back as mail from here to her takes around 14 days from the remote area I live.

 

they were looking for her adoption certificate so that was our request, will my G325-a be that much of an issue as they already have a copy each before these new ones! 

G-325A doesn't expire and a printed, signed copy is permitted.

The CSC processing times list was updated today. The are listing November 15, 2016 as the processing date for K1 visa. Anyone still waiting on NOA2 with a receive date on or before Nov 15 might be able to get an answer if they make an inquiry. Hope they will finish up all of the November cases soon!

I completely panicked when I read your responses that as of today, they were on mid November. Fortunately, it seems like they just advanced their "as of" date by a month what it was before/it's as of February 28th they're on November.

I know you had an rfe so you might know.... Do they send the whole packet back to you? I'm just curious if you forgot to check a box or write "none" (or something small like that) if you can do that on the sheet you already filled out or if you need to re-do the whole thing?

Hi everyone again, I know I have alot of questions. 

 

I've been calling the NVC couple weeks back to see if they have received our case from USCIS. I called today and they still haven't. It's been almost a month since we got approved. I called USCIS yesterday and they said they already forwarded my case on the same day they approved it. However, the guy at NVC today asked me to take a look at my approval notice. I noticed that USCIS doesn't mention anything about forwarding the case to NVC, but to the listed consulate instead. The guy at NVC even said this is weird and he thought that it came to the NVC first. 

 

Now, I already asked my fiancee to check with the embassy tomorrow (its midnight in Vietnam now). Has anyone experienced this situation or known anyone experienced this situation before?

You can call NVC to se when they get it, then get the case number form them. At that point, you can track it via the CEAC website (as an Immigrant Visa, despite it actually being a non-immigrant visa). You can track the package from NVC to the embassy using the instructions earlier in this thread.

They only send you what you need to fix. In my case, they only needed some new evidence, so they only sent me the RFE notice along with the return envelope (which I didn't use because it wouldn't fit my evidence). If the issue is an unchecked box or something on the form, I've seen others get the original form sent back in the RFE for corrections.

That is odd...I just checked my NOA2 and it's different. It has that exact same language and such, but there's 4 paragraphs of text above that explaining about it going to NVC first.

I checked this old thread from 2011 and this person seemed to get in the same situation as me. However, everyone in the thread replied that it is impossible for a case to go straight to the consulate without going through NVC to get a case-number assigned to it. The OP of the thread also stated that he confirmed with a NVC rep that he was on the phone with about the possibility of a case going straight to the consulate instead of NVC and the rep said yes. The thread was practically closed with the OP saying they got their case number without stating how.

Hi fellow November filers, I just want to give you guys an update. Me and my fur baby arrived safely in NJ. We have been here for almost 2 weeks now and we have adjusted to the weather finally.. <3 My parents just also received the approval of their tourist visa the other day (So they can attend the wedding). I would love to help any fellow filers who are interested in bringing their pets from the Philippines to USA. Just send me a PM and I will tell you how we did it. Goodluck to everyone!
