So our RFE was delivered and signed 13/4/17 at 1.05pm....still no update on app to say they have received it.

any advice anyone?

Does that I mean I shouldn't be counting the 7-14 days approva from delivery l because the app hasn't stated our RFE has been acknowledged yet?

I....GOT....APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

I am so happy after 139 days that I cannot even believe yet that we finally got approved, I literally started to cry :D. Thanks so much to everyone who was there to answer any questions I ever made and mostly to @geowrian for updating every week the files for us to keep track of the cases, it REALLY helped me to keep me kind of sane and at the same time get annoyed when there was no approved cases. As well I would like to thank @llaz for talking with me as much and supporting me as much as I hope I did support you!. Being in the same situation of being for so many days waiting and having someone to share the experience with, helped me a lot and YOU ARE NEXT! You called it last week and now I call it on you!! :D:D:D

That's not the last step but next station...............................NVC!!!!!!!!!!

Now my question is, I have to wait around a week and a half to 2 weeks before we call to get a number. Am I right? I understood that this number we have to use it to pay for the D-160 and choose date for interview?

Again, thanks a lot to everyone! And my advice......you'll feel a lot of emotions as you wait for NOA2 but it will come eventually. KEEP IT UP EVERYONE!

ANDSCO, YAY!!! I am SO SO SO happy for you!!!! Congratulations, I can imagine how excited you and your fiancee are!! :D Next step NVC and then Embassy!

Oh and no doubt you've absolutely supported me greatly as well! I appreciate calling it on me for next week ^_^
Are you on the K1 November Facebook Family? I'll pm you.

It's a holiday weekend. USCIS isn't actually off as it's not a federal holiday, but I would absolutely bet it was a slow work day...

No advice...just wait. It's been 1 business day. :)

I would never "count on" a fixed length for an approval. Roughly one week seems typical for most RFEs I've seen, but some do take longer.

Hi everyone,

i really need your help please, I created a profile to get the bank slip to pay to go to the bank and pay the visa fee but im stock on the IV case Id field, is it the USCAS case number ( I tried that but didn't work) or is it a case number the embassy will send t to us? The only thing I received from the embassy was instructions email in response to an email I sent to the embassy asking for the case status but didn't receive anything else such as packet 3. My fiancé having sent the documents required yet. I thought we need to include the fee reciept with the documents. Also do we need to send the affidavit support with the documents or just take it on the day of the interview?  I'm really confuse and I need help please

I'm sorry for too many question but the embassy instructions are confusing.

thank you so much

@geowrian have a question again.

My fiance started a new job and she makes over the 100% percent line.

 Only thing is she is a private contractor and gets paid in cashin her taxes doesn't add up for the year as she did not work.

Could she be the sole sponsor or do we actually need a co sponsor still?

I thought it was returned for the wrong fees when you submit (since that's when they cash the cheque) the petition? That's a CRAZY amount of RFEs. I guess people really did submit their petitions in a mad rush at the end of December!

So if I understand your situation correctly, your fiance has a new job and gets paid directly by a client (not an employer)? That's a bit harder....any self employment is more complex IMHO. Normally you would use tax transcripts and such to prove income, but since this is a new job, it's not recorded on tax returns yet.

What she can do is show receipts / paid invoices instead. That said, the CO may not be convinced with that as there isn't a long history to show that it's stable. Having a joint sponsor ready to show would probably be better to be on the safe side. By the time AOS comes around, she should have submitted at least quarterly tax returns as an independent contractor, which should help.

Correct. Incorrect fees are generally rejected immediately. Since they are not accepted in the first place, they cannot get an RFE. No idea why all the RFEs...maybe people just rushing to fit in before the fee hike and making mistakes?

I am filing the I-134 Affidavit of Support in support of the K1-Visa process. I am struggling to try to figure out how to file number 38 on part 3 (I intend or do not intend...). To my understanding, the question is to provide SPECIFIC SUPPORTS I am going to provide my fiancee if I check INTEND. However, I intend to provide any support that she needs as we are going to live together.

Any help or clear explaintion would be much appreciated.
