Yeah maybe you got the luck and we didnt. We sent a pretty heavy file with hundreds of pages so Im afraid it may take a while for them to scan it hahaha.

I did the same...I printed out about a years worth of Facebook, travel receipts, plane tickets, anything and everything we had! I am a huge fan of drowning them in what they ask for...that way their is no question and they get what they need.  You will get yours soon! Just keep checking!

Ah, I'm the opposite...less is more. I only provided them with what they asked for (no front loading because it's not needed for my embassy). I sent the required documents + 2 photos, 1 boarding pass set, 1 passport page of stamps, 2 JR Pass sets, and 1 Angkor Pass set.

True, I do that when it comes to the required documents and forms...then its only what they asked for and exactly how they asked for it to be filled out.

That being said, when it comes to things that I consider to be subjective, such as proof of ongoing relationship, I prefer to use the scorched earth policy. I would rather send as much proof, data, pics, and evidence, as I can to satisfy the other human who is going to be judging whether or not what I sent was good enough. Its one of those things... I hate dealing in subjective issues that could be looked one way by one person, and a completely different way by someone else...hence the flood of paper that I send. I want anyone who sees it to react the same way....I know that may be wishful thinking, but that is my hope anyway.

Right. And I will provide plenty of proof of an ongoing relationship when we get to that stage (I have several lbs. of pages printed already! haha). For the I-129F, they don't look at any of that, though. The CO can review it prior to the interview, though, which is where providing that beforehand (front loading) is needed for some high fraud embassies. It's in no way wrong to provide it before hand...it's more of a balance of the pros versus cons and a personal decision. The main pro being the CO sees it beforehand. The main con is that anything you send can be used against you. It's extremely uncommon, but it has occurred where a CO would pull a few pages from a chat and then ask about that topic at the interview. Or they could scan through it and something catches their eye in a negative way.

It's really not about the amount of paper you send, but the quality of what's on it. The COs are looking for certain key items to be fulfilled, not just in terms of requirements, but what a "normal couple" would do.

I agree with the quality of the content as well! All of the items were conversations between us, her and my friends, her and my family, and vice versa, pictures of us together, the things we have done, the places we have gone, and the new people we have met together, hence the receipts, plane tickets, etc... to prove that we have a relationship and that we have actually met in the last year.

It did just ask for proof of meeting, but I figured it couldn't hurt to provide the proof of relationship at the same time.  Maybe good, maybe bad...who knows.

The reason why we put so much om-going relationship proof in I-129F because we met online and met only 1 time for 2 weeks and we celebrated the engagement party when he was here, we were afraid we didn't convince them enough with a lack of evidences, so we tried to put more chat logs, call logs, screenshots of video call, receipts... It'd rather be heavy file with a bunch of evidences than less and we would have received a rfe which would take more time to wait :P
My fiance only has 2 weeks off a year, and we are about 30 years old, we didn't want to wait for more meetings, that's why we decided to file the K1 visa :D

hmmm.. We tried to call NVC this morning to ask about our case number, our noa2 is March 16th. And the operator said it was too early to call, that it might take up to 6 weeks, and she suggested us to call again after 2 weeks.  Too long haha. My fiance didnt want to call them everyday because he said they may be bothered and hate us and put our case number in the end of the waiting list or something :p. (But I want to try the luck next week, maybe call them every 3 days without letting my fiance knows).

Does anybody have the same (or close) approval date as mine and got your case number already?

I told you have to wait 21 days and then you can ask them about ur case! Too early to call them right now, don't rush! Because you have to wait your case getting ready at least 1 week and have to wait about 2 more 2 weeks to wait embassy send you p3 email for doing medical exam, here vietnam not like those countries, i was rush everything but finally i have no choice and interviews schedule on may anf june still not open so if you finish all that steps, you're still not get your day! Heavenly Father blessed us this morning with wonderful news!!! We are so thankful! Now things are moving quickly! I have got to package up everything i134 and proof of steady income that exceeds requirements, letters from my banks, letter explaining tax exempt income and from income sources documentation proving my type of income is exempt,  updated letter of my intent to  marry him within the 90 days, proof of our continuous relationship ( photos, screen shots of conversations on FB messenger and WhatsApp as well as logs of video calls)and FedEx it all to him . Front loaded passport photos, travel itinerary, tickets, boarding passes, hotels and resorts receipts, photos of us together in the Dominican Republic and with his family from Sept 2016, receipts from rental car, museums, divorce decrees for both of us, etc.

We sent so much in the i-129F. Is there any thing that I am forgetting???
