Got my RFE in the mail minutes ago. Yup...they want proof that OKC is not an IMB just like I assumed. It's too late to mail out today, but I'll send out my response for Monday.

That's crazy because in my application I only stated "we met online" no specific site was mentioned and they approved our case.  I'm a firm believer that it all depends on the adjudicator you get.  Besides after thousands of applications I'm sure they already know what sites are marriage brokers and which are not.  Waste of time in my opinion.

I totally agree with you in this! How long has okc been around? I bet they have come across the site'ss terms and conditions at least once in the many many applications they receive daily. It does not seem logistically possible that they are not aware which ones are IMB and which ones are not! But regardless, the rfe has been sent, and we cannot do anything except comply. Meh. :(

We just got our interview date:  March 29th! We probably could have made it happen a lot sooner, but she's not actually moving here until August, so there's been no need to rush. Fingers crossed that all goes well!

Glad to hear there's someone from Indonesia who will get interview for K1 Visa this March 29th. We are January filers and still waiting for Noa2. Please let us know the information when your fiance interview is done.

Thank you in advance!

Will do! The good thing is that while I-129f petition processing has been slow, the US embassy in Jakarta is actually quite fast with their processing and has been good to work with so far. We actually got an email from the embassy saying they received our petition, and then a few days later I got notification from the Department of State saying the petition had been sent to the embassy lol. It only took them a couple days to procsss the petition and give us a list of documents and procedures to have ready, and they gave us an interview date a day after we told them we completed everything.

For the I-129F, they won't even look at that. They just need proof that you met at least once in the past 2 years, required forms are completed, etc.. The proof of an ongoing relationship won't be looked at until it reaches the CO at the embassy.
