I just read the whole thread and wow!!!I feel so loved by everybody here!!! :luv: Love you all guys and gals of VJ and thank you much for all the kind words and wishes! (F)

I'm all awake since 2:30..can't sleep right back..maybe my body clock still adjusting here(its afternoon back home)..poor Gary,after all the preparation he did(cleaning the house-I'm so impressed!! :thumbs: )shopping,cook , the excitement and worry PLUS couples load of laundry wore him out ! :D:devil: ..now he is snoring ! :P I'm staring at him watching him sleeping..so cute!!He is such a sweetie! :luv:(L)

It is WORTH all the WAIT!

Ahh feels good that I'm here!

Now have to wake him up to catch more laundry to do :P I told him before that ''yawn and eating meal'' is his ONLY rest and excuse from me!lol! :D:P:devil:

You all have to excuse us if we on and off from VJ for awhile . :P

Ok, I am awake now! Yesterday was a real trip! The excitement of her coming and the drama of not hearing from her wore me out!

Luz is unpacking her bags right now. She had 4 suitcases between her and Robin. They must weigh 100lb each! I have no idea how she is able to fit so much in there! It's a wonder she didn't have to pay excess weight fee's for them! I don't know where I will put everything. I have a large walk in closet, a full size dresser and a large chest of drawers. I cleared out half the space for her stuff but is isn't enough. She says she still has a box at home that weighs 100lbs that still needs shipped and that is all clothes!!

We have some pics of her trip and her homecoming. I will put them up on the web site when things calm down.

Here we are in the airport! What a wonderful homecoming!!!!!

3-30-2007: Both checks cashed and case number received

4-05-2007: NOA1 received in mail with correct case number

4-05-2007: NOA1 case number works online

4-06-2007: Received Biometrics appointment notice

4-17-2007: Biometrics Appointment and TOUCHED :)

5-02-2007: Greencard expires

Dec 2007: Received extention until Dec 2008

5-09-2008: Card production ordered!! FINALLY!!!

Naturalization!!!!

Finally getting around to N-400... Filed under 5 years of PR status

5-11-2010: Sent out N-400 - Phoenix, AZ Lockbox

5-13-2010: Received at Lockbox

5-25-2010: Checks Cashed :)

5-28-2010: NOA received but case number doesn't work

6-04-2010: Case number works online and says RFE sent 6-2-10

6-07-2010: Received letter for biometrics

Gary I bet it felt kinda weird this is the first time you met her at the airport and you were waiting for Luz and Robin...:P

LUZ and Robin, I just want to express my excitement of welcoming you to the USA. I wish you blessed heath,happness and nothing but good luck.

Gary and you Luz were put together by God, and he is always watching over your family. This comes from my heart.

BTW.. Those are very lovely pictures and Luz looks very nice and maganda :D

How late am I....?!

Better late than never, though: congrats to the three of you!! (I would say 'welcome', but as I'm not in the States yet, I can't be welcoming anyone to the place!) :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

September 15 - 2005: NOA1

October: Waiting

November: Waiting

December: In Security checks

January 2006: Waiting

February: Waiting..Contacted Congress

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

AOS

October: 13th: Sent off AOS Package

November 3rd: NOA1

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

November 14th : CSC has petition for me and my daughter.

December 14th: Biometrics completed.

January 17th: APPROVED AOS!

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.
