All of this made me remember all the nights awake crying 'cus I couldn't be with my Luis, for over 3 years before we did the K1 and I moved here. Makes me appreciate my husband even more than I already do. :)

We too will have special laundry tonight. :lol:

Feb. 13, 2007 NOA1 Sent advising check was rec'd.

Mar. 1, 2007 Email stating NOA2 was hard copy sent to me.

Mar. 7, 2007 Hard Copy NOA2 arrived safely to me!

Mar. 8, 2007 *Touched* by London Consulate

Mar. 19, 2007 Craig Rec'd Packet 3

April 13 - April 22nd joining my guy in the UK for a much needed week of R&R!

April 27, 2007 Medical was successful.

May 16, 2007 Police Certificates finally arrive safely.

May 17, 2007 Checklist mailed to Consolute in London!!

May 30, 2007 Packet 4 Rec'd.

June 21, 2007 INTERVIEW DATE

June 23, 2007 VISA IN HAND!

July 21, 2007 Arrived in USA! Together at last.

Man I have spent the past hour catching up! Gary, I was with you up untill you had to take off to the airport! CONGRATS LUZ AND ROBIN!! WELCOME HOME!!!!!!! May the three of you have a wonder life together. Your threads have had me bitting my nails with anticipation and then tears of joy when Luz finally arrived!. IM SO HAPPY FOR ALL THREE OF YOU. I was at church today beacuse it was good friday and I kept thinking of you Gary Luz and Robin hoping that everthing turned out fine. I went to bed before gary even left for the Airport,..

I just got up, and this thread was the first thng I looked for,..

Spent 15 minutes catching up,..

GLad everything turned out ok,..Luz, Gary, and Robin,..

Robin,..go and watch a dvd or ten,..

and Gary and Luz,..dont wear yourselves out with all the laundry,..lol

The timeline... (Frankfurt) for the kids visas

10/22/2007 Filed I-130 x 2 in person + paid 710 USD (355 each )

10/22/2007 Filed DS-230 part 1 x 2

10/22/2007 Received the document checklist and FRN (case) numbers

12/18/2007 I-130 petition approved, but I didn't know. I was away at the time, didn't get confirmation letters til I got back from the states.

12/20/2007 Notice of Approval arrives in tha mail. According to the date received stamp on back of envelope at my post box.

Will now wait til hubby is back from Iraq to fax in checklist readiness, even though, I have been ready since day of lodging I-130's. all except medical.

02/18/2008 Faxed the "checklist" back to the consulate.

02/25/2008 Medicals completed.

02/25/2008 Appt letters in mail for appt on March 7th. Cant go due to prior military commitments. Emailed consulate and received an amended appt date of March 12th 2008.

03/12/2008 Visa interview - APPROVED x 2

03/27/2008 Visa's finally generated. I emailed the consulate. they apologised for the delay. They forgot to issue the visas after approval.

03/31/2008 Received visas

04/26/2008 Flying out of Frankfurt to next duty station on orders.

May 17 Did search on match.com. Found no-one in Wyoming. Only wrote to one person in Montana...his name was John. He replied two hours later.

Jun 26 Flew to Missoula to meet him & a weekend trip turned into a five week visit...

Many trips between US, Canada & Europe.

2005

March 31 During a meeting in Vancouver, John proposed & I said YES!!!

Jun 2 Finally sent off our I-129F & a few days later we received NOA1. I am now officially an alien bride-to-be.

Aug 22 Email notification of NOA2.

Sep 12 Received letter to say application would be forwarded to US Embassy.

Nov 23 Returned packet 3 to Embassy

Nov 30 Medical

Jan 5 Got interview date

Feb 1 Interview. APPROVED!

Feb 2 Visa delivered.

Feb 7 Flight to Seattle.

Feb 8 Finally back home in Missoula, MT. I'm happy, John's happy & the cats are ecstatic - together again!
