I can't hold it in any longer! My Luz will be here tomorrow!

I am in total "can't sit still" mode here. Luz will arrive in 30 hours and my head is spinning!:dance::dance: As some of you may know this has been a 3 year long ordeal for us. It seemed that there were non-stop roadblocks for three years straight. We overcame them one-at-a-time and our reward is now close. I just can't picture the moment when Luz and Robin step off of the airplane tomorrow afternoon. It all just doesn't seem real yet.

Luz and I had our last web chat last night. She is in Manila and she talked to me from a cafe near the hotel. That will seem weird. Other than my visits there, for three years all I saw of her was over a web cam. It will be nice to have a conversation with her without a cam freezing or the mic stopping.

My life is about to radically change. I have been alone for a long time now and I try to imagine Luz and Robin living our daily lives together. It's the little things I look forward to most. Dinner with a family, family vacations, sunday outings together and just having a normal life for a change. And to have these things with a woman that I am absolutely nuts about makes the future seem like heaven.

Thanks for the forum to drivel on. I just needed to let it out before I explode!

Gary, that was really sweet. I can really feel your excitement, and I'm sure everyone here knows exactly how you're feeling. It's one of the best feelings in the whole world IMO. Such optimism and anticipation for the future - how much better can life get? :D

Best wishes for you, Luz, and Robin. May you have many years of wonderful family memories... (F)

Cool Gary!!!!!!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

May you have a glorious reunion ! :dancing:

Wishing you all the best that life can offer ! (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Wow,

We very much know and remember that anxious feeling of counting the hours, minutes (and yes, the seconds) until we were in each others arms here in US. Congradulations and you both deserve it after such a long wait that seems like (is) an eternity.

10Yr GC arrived 07/02/09 - Naturalization is next

The drama begins - again!

And now the drama ends - they took the Green card . . .

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
