Hi Haltom, thank you for your help😊

You see I still dont have a drivers license but I have a california I.D when I was 16 then and a new one I just renewed last year and they both have the same address. We're going to stay with my parents the same address where  I grew up . So I dont really have a house of my own yet.The lady told me to send them my flight ticket. I hope I'll be able to convince the them as soon as possible so that my kids could follow me in the US before the school year starts. I havent enrolled them here in the PH cause I was hoping they can enroll in California this September..

As far as we know, no need to do DS-261.

I agree with verwen.  Though I encountered somebody from here that they submitted a scanned copy, and got approved.  Anyway, are you done with the interview verwen? How was it?

Not yet, medical and interview are going to be in July. Medical is only going to be one week before interview, hoping it goes well, couldn't afford to make two trips. When is your interview?

Our interview will be on July, 1st week. Have you registered with st Luke's online portal?  Suggestion, be there as early as you can like 4am. Medical exam and the results can be processed for one day.

By the way, just to make sure. Is  the cost of immigrant visa $325 or $225? Thanks you all.

Yes, they are registered online for St Luke's. It would be nice to be able to get it done in one day. I think the visa fee is $325.

Congrats on passing the medical! Looks like you are nearing the final hurdle. Did you decide on who to purchase your plane tickets from? Are you planning to fly soon after you receive your visa or will you wait until later in the year?

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi guys, good day!  Hope you are all pushing through with your visa application journey through DCF mostly the February 2017 fillers.  Anyway, our good news is by God's grace, guidance and all your prayers and informative comments, FINALLY my spousal visa /IR1 is already approved and issued.   Yesterday's interview went well after a long scrutinizing questions from the american consul.   So, not sure if somebody from this group went there yesterday, but saw some families also.   Let us know how is your visa processing going on and will gladly share our experience and all the papers we provided. Will share it in our family blog.  God bless you all.  All the praises and honor belongs to Jesus Christ, our great provider of wisdom.

JEREMIAH 29:11-14 NEW LIVING TESTAMENT

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”
