Feeling Sad, Don't forget to sign! Prints on all my forms, can't remove

We are filling the first K1 Fiance Visa forms. When I print out the form G-325a and I-129F with Adobe reader, it prints out "Don't forget to sign!". There is no popup when I click on print. I am not going to send the form with the "Don't forget to sign!" text. I am feeling sad because I worked on this for 3 hours with no solution I try works on the internet.

 

Right now I have no choice but to send in the forms with the text "Don't forget to sign!" because it prints on the forms. I got the originals forms from the government site.

Did you try to download the form. Open Adobe Reader and then open the form from within Adobe Reader? Some forms are glitchy when you open them trough the web reader, even with the plug-in or with some other PDF readers.

Yes I downloaded the forms directly to my computer and opened them up with Adobe reader.

Do you have a Mac?  You can whiteout that "don't forget to sign" with a white box.  Here's a screen print of what I did just now to show you what you can possibly do too:

No I don't have a mac. I have a PC. Right now I am trying to figure a way to put a white box over top of the  "don't forget to sign".

Well, since its advised to make a second exact duplicate of your entire K1 Visa packet - just go to your copy shop tomorrow, manually put whiteout tape over those "don't forget to sign" areas, and make photo copies.  Now you have blank signature boxes.  Easy 0.10 cent fix.

Dont worry about it all my  forms have that and asked my husband and co sponsor to sign on them. It was no problem. You can edit it but I didnt bother to.

Try with Foxit reader (another PDF reader. it's free). Just open your completed file there and print only page with that mark. If all is fine print the rest, you need two copies anyway

I just sent ours in with that text when we sent both the K1 and the AOS. didn't hear anything about it. As long as you sign it, I don't think it really matters. Just don't forget to sign it

The "Don't forget to sign!" Is a markup on the PDF. When the print dialog box opens, there should be a box above the document preview that says "Comments & Forms" with a drop down box that probably says "Document and Markups". Click the arrow in the drop down and select "Document". Anything in red on the form will disappear when you print it.

Oh I understand how frustrating it could be , have you tried to "right click" on the file , "print" , when the file pop up with adobe it should show you the "do not forget to sign " and then print it off , normally it should also disappear as wel

The problem is that now there are browsers like Chrome that open the pdf files directly on a new tab and if you print them via Chrome and not via the Acrobat software these red annotations will remain (that is what happened to me).

 

But there is really no big deal... I went to Staples, put some white-out over the red text and made a photocopy, looks absolutely perfect. People need to relax sometimes and not overthink too much
