in the link above under processing times, it shows Nebraska is processing applications with a  NOA1 date of August 2, 2016. My wife and I have a date od December 2, 2016. It looks as if Nebraska has slowed down for some reason?

Good luck to you

Does anyone know what case are being reviewed at the Nebraska center ???

All centers now report for all visas today July 28th status, this is an error ...... Aug 2-7 should have been completed in Jan if it was true, we are in the end of Feb soon so something is wrong internally.

Nebraska truly is a dark pit of despair, We were sucked in and only recently spat out a few days ago after 199 days of drowning in the belly of the beast. My condolences for anyone who is waiting for an approval at Nebraska, but know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

at least we are not alone. It might not do much, but knowing that we are waiting together gives me a strange sense of calmness. A small one, at that.

A process as sensitive as this one shouldn't be taken so lightly. I don't condone ilegal immigration, but they make it so damn difficult, expensive and lengthy, that I get why people do whatever they can to be with their loved ones.

Yeah, it's a rough ride, but VisaJourney offers a lot of support that has definitely made it somewhat more bearable.

When looking at the info on the USCIS website, it is important to see the date of the report. For example, today it shows " Field Office Processing Dates for Nebraska Service Center as of: December 31, 2016 "   and as of that date,  it shows they were processing cases from August 2, so just under 5 months.
It looks like the page is only updated once every 3 months and it takes over a month or more for the website to update.  I also question why other service centers show different dates depending on the beneficiary status (child over 21, spouse, etc), but the Nebraska data shows all of the dates as August 2 for all of the I-130 categories.

I would guess that by the end of this month they should be done with August, following their pace from the last few months. It seems to have been taking Nebraska a couple of months for them to process a month worth of petitions lately. They started approving August petitions at the beginning of February, so they have been working for about 5 weeks on August petitions. I think 3 more weeks and there shouldnt be many left over from August. Nebraska is very slow, but they are still making progress at least.
