OK I just submit my c1 visa application I thought it was easy to get didn't pay application fee as yet but I'm reading where it can be denied and looks like in my case it will be as I am unemployed and don't have any "strong ties" to my country also I was sent back to my country from us in 2012 I do have permission to reapply approved and married to a us citizen at the moment anyways I just would like to take a vacation somewhere for a bit and i got soo excited as there is alot of places i can travel to besides the us, come to find out I just have the worst of luck on all levels as every destination that I want to travel.to have to do a transit in the us I try all diff flights  and will have to stop there for few hours or so so what am I suppose to do now be banned from the world cause that's what it seems like at this point it's unlikely I will get c-1 visa the us is just punishing me from.all angles smh so frustrated!

Your post is... all over the place. And very hard to understand.

1. You didn't submit the visa application. Your US spouse did.

2. With the spouse visa, your unemployment doesn't matter. Your strong ties doesn't matter either.

3. You were send back from US? Why? Were you deported? Did you overstayed some other visa? What did you do?

4. Uh, now you're talking about the tourist visa for vacation?

5. And now you're talking about the transit visa?

6. If you have a ban, your spouse visa won't be approved.

What is a C-1 visa??

If you have a prior deportation or voluntary departure on your immigration history all you can do is apply for a spousal visa and go from there.

If you are married to a USA citizen, they can file a petition for you.  Once that is approved and you go for interview, the Kingston embassy will inform you of any other necessary documentation regarding your 2012 incident.  You can always apply and you have to pay the fees due at that time.  It just depends on the circumstances of what happened in 2012 whether you will be approved or not.

I would say a tourist visa is probably not going to be approved, but if you have money to spend go ahead and try for it.

Indeed, it is a bit of a rant to express frustration.

One thing is as asked, why were you sent home? Deported? Removed?

If you have a ban yes you will get denied the CR-1 visa, and then will have to file for a waiver either 601 or 212...or both, not sure on waivers.

As to layovers in the US, that does cause a dilemma when traveling as you have a ban and there is no real way to bypass immigrations.. you just need to keep looking at other options...

And as to why you were removed/deported/banned, don't blame the US then for any of your travel issues. Probably caused a lot of this yourself. No disrespect intended, but maybe again have to find other places to go.

Did you mean a CR-1 visa or an actual C-1 visa? These are very, very different things. And this is posted i the tourist visa section...and both C-1 and CR-1 are not tourist visas. I think you need to clarify your situation and history.

I think OP meant C1 Visa or "Transit Visa". It's usually for travelers to transit in between airports to catch another flight. For example flying to Newark and fly out of JFK to final destination.

Correct, I'm aware of that. :) But then the other parts of the story don't quite make sense (US spouse, tourist visa, not being able to pick a flight w/o an airport transfer, etc.). I think the OP needs to clarify what exactly they want to do as there are a couple different understandings already.
