Filing N-400 with I-751 Pending

We filed for my wife's I-751 last June with VSC, but from the looks of things, we aren't expecting to hear anything back until the one year mark.  At which time, she would qualify to file for citizenship.  Would filing for citizenship negatively affect her Removal of Conditions?  Would we have to supply evidence of a faithful marriage as we did with the other past petitions?

Applying for citizenship now will have no negative side effects. It will force USCIS to adjudicate the I-751, and it's possible you would receive a combined I-751/N-400 interview. 

 

You would need to show evidence of a continuing and bona fide marriage for the N-400 at the interview.

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX
