What country are you/your fiancé from? Who is the petitioner?

You are currently waiting for NVC to give you a case number and forward your case to the embassy, from there it is highly embassy specific.

The petitioner should fill out the i134 with supporting docs and send to the beneficiary (depends on embassy and situation, but usually letter of employment and 6 months worth of pay stubs + most recent tax transcript or tax return + W2).

The beneficiary should collect his birth certificate, police records, schedule a medical, interview and pay interview fee. The order and execution as said, depends on the country.

The beneficiary should also collect evidence of ongoing relationship, communication and visits since the petition was filed. He/she will need a number of US style passport photos. Originals of any divorce decreea (for either of you) and children's birth certificates should also be gathered.

Everything you need to know is on the official website of the American Consulate in Casablanca. Just click this link:

https://ma.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

But before then, your finacée needs to call the NVC (National Visa Center) and get your case/visa number from them. You will then send an email to the Consulate (after they receive the case) to ask for the Interview Instructions Packet (previously called Packet 3) and date.

Good luck! :)

You don't have to call to get the case number, it will be sent to the petitioner. Of course, calling might shave a week or two off the waiting, but not strictly necessary.

Otherwise, good information :-)

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Oh, I didn't know that, so thanks!

And how is it sent to the petitioner? As a separate document or with NOA2?

Separate document from NVC (NOA2 comes from CSC).

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

And what's the name of that document please? Sorry for asking too many questions.

It doesn't have a "name". It's just a letter from NVC confirming case approval, case number given and what consulate that will process the visa.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.
