Hi everyone , I filled i90 to replace my green card. I haven't received my biometrics letter so I emailed uscis about that and the mean time I did a walk in to take the biometrics and they accepted it. But later on my online case status it's show that they emailed me a new biometric appointment. What does that mean?

It may be a case of left hand not knowing what right hand is doing.

In the internet age, we expect things to be instant, but that is not how government agencies work.  The office scheduling your appointment may not have been aware that you already had it done at your local office.

Go to your new biometric appointment.  Better safe than sorry.
