Hi, guys. I just want to ask if any of you here filed a DCF this 2017. I am particularly curious if any of you who filed last month has ever gotten an approval email already. I read the threads here and most of them said that they only waited a week or so, I'm just wondering why ours is kind of taking longer. It's almost 3weeks now and I really don't want it to be a full 3month-wait before we receive the email. Also, does any of you know any possible way of tracking our visa application without the case number? I am dying to meet my in-laws... Thank you so much!

You're not going to be approved in a week.  You may get NOA1 in a week.

However you may get it within the next week or two since they normally take about a month! :D

Hi NikLR, thanks for your response. This is DCF though, a direct filing for CR1. most of the people who filed that I know of got approved in a week. Do you know where/how to get NOA1? Or are they going to send that through email?

The timeline I showed you was for DCF for Manila.  Contact them to make sure they received your case (NOA1 is a notice of action from the USCIS saying the petition was received) and to check on progress.

Hi CMKennedy!  I suggest that you follow the Philippines portal forum = http://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.php?country=Philippines where they have DCF timelines posted by other VJ members and contributors.  Best wishes for a expeditious IV journey!
