How long does it take for the medical to reach the embassy? My fiancé did his medical on 2/2 and had his interview 2/9. I knew it wouldn't have been there by the 9th, but I am just trying to see on average how long does it take. We are in AP status

Thank you! Im hoping that its there this week

You can also call back to Andrews Memorial and asked if the medical has been sent over.  It is very easy to find this out.  They let you know right away. And yes it is about 2 weeks

Thank you. We have been calling and they told us it should be there next week and to call back Monday. Now I'm hoping the Embassy doesn't take long when it's sent over

Well for me medical sent over on January 3rd and when called on the 23rd they tried to tell me it was not there.  I had to tell them they were wrong it had to be there. After two phone calls 10 minutes later email received medical received sent for review.  It seems like many medicals may get misplaced or just left sitting somewhere.  Now we were told once it gets to the embassy it will pass through many hands.  Again just keep an eye out.  If your case status update changes after interview date, send email to see if received.  They are easy to say medical is not received and it is sitting right there in their office.  Again just keep up on the time that is passing.

Thank you. I will definitely stay on top of this. I already took off for my vacation and it was the only time I could get in march.
