K1 Visa - Received NOA2 - Still Ok To Visit?

I entered the US multiple times after filing for the K1 visa. Entered each time with virtually no legitimate ties to Canada. I might have got lucky, but I was able to get in every time. It was hit and miss on whether I was questioned quite a bit or just sent on through without hassle.

The visa only came up once. I had voluntarily brought it up as they were asking multiple questions about if I was planning to get married while there. So, I told them I don't currently have any wedding plans as we're currently awaiting the K1 visa and that we're doing it all legally.

Ugh thank goodness for this thread. Just about to file the k1 application this weekend. I am from Toronto and my fiance is 10 mins across the Peace bridge in Buffalo. I don't get physical mail anymore since everything is online nowadays and I am not really interested in showing the border agent my banking information.

What else can prove as ties to home? besides the mentioned letters from employer/bank statement?

Every single payment I have is auto-paid through my bank account, so.. printing bank statements it is?

Yes that works. Sometimes you get an online bill on an account, my cell company does this, so you can print those.  bring pay stubs and a letter from your employer if you're employed currently.

I never visited during the K1 process, however I had no problems getting a NEXUS during that time. During my NEXUS interview, I also told the CBP officer I had a K1 case processing, and he didn't even care and everything was approved. I originally had intents to visit during the process but eventually decided not to.

My first visit after NOA2 will be this coming Sept and will bring all the docs that will tie me with Canada again just in case. However, my first travel after NOA1 was last May 2019. We have all the documents to show proof that I'll be coming back. Fortunately for me, my experience was a breeze. The only question I have to answer was "Where is your passport?" After giving it to the officer and verified, he gave it back to me and I even asked, "Is that it?" He said "Have a good flight."

Sigh of relief.

I guess NEXUS really helped me on this. Or the officer just didn't care.

Let's see what happens in this upcoming trip.
