i got question regarding CFO...

Is there a certain period required for me to take the seminar from the date of my visa approval? I was approved in may 22 and only planning to leave for US in september...will it be okay if i take the CFO around july or august? as long as a date before i leave?

also...with regard to validity of visa...

my visa will expire on nov 22, 2007...i understand that this is the last day i need to leave for US...right? So would there be problem if i leave in september and only gets married in december 2007? the nov 22 date does not pertain to actual wedding date, right? otherwise, ill get married beyond the nov 22 date or should i get married before nov 22?

as usual, thank you for the well-advices.

CFO can be done at any time. will need the sticker in your passport by the day you depart for USA. Nov 22, the date your visa expires, is the last day it would be valid for entry into the USA. once you arrive in the USA, you have up to 90 days to get married. so say if you arrive in the USA sept 1, you would have to be married by Nov 29th.

:star::yes::luv::luv: I got a text message from delbros this afternoon, my visa will be delivered tomorrow up to the next 2 days

The past few days i was freaking out thinking i might be on AR...

now is a yehey

Thank you Visa Journey and my Manila Thread family...mwahhhh...

Congratulations to Orion

Good Luck to Mae, kaya mo yan

God Bless.

Congrats! :) We went through the same thing because of the unknown. They will not say you're approved but they don't say you're on AR either - you're left in limbo. IMO you never know you're approved until the USE releases the visa to Delbros. If you're in the Metro Manila area your visa should be delivered tomorrow. Check your status online and it's probably going to be out for delivery tomorrow. Be sure to be home so you can sign for it. :)

Today i got my visa, yesterday i got the text message. What a relief. But i am aware there are more filing in the near future hehe. I am excited to see my hun....mwaaaaaah.

Thank you very much for the comforting words and to everyone too. mwahhhh.

Nov 22 is the last day you may enter the US. If you arrive in the U.S. after Nov 22, you will not be allowed to enter regardless of when you started your journey.

You have 90 days from the time you enter the US to get married. The 90 days starts when you enter regardless of when the visa expires.

I have a question...

When can i apply for my SSN? After the wedding, right?

Congrats on your visa! If I am correct you should wait about 2 weeks and then apply for your ss#. Then you need to file a name change after the wedding. Here is the guide for this step hope it helps! http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...om&page=ssn

Hope that helps. Again congrats...I am so looking forward to the day my sweetheart has hers in hand as well!
