Congratulations to everyone with their visas. It is so encouraging to hear of your success. Thanks to everyone on this site for your help in helping others get approved.

I have a question about the medical at St. Lukes. What does someone do if it is the time of their monthly cycle?

Thanks

I heard its not advisable to have the physical exam when somebody has their period. My cousin was asked to come back when her period is done. The Dr cant take a good look down there when its that time of the month. They usually ask when did you have your period, first and last days of it and if you had a sexual contact after then etc.

I posted this a few days ago, I'm not sure it got buried in a blizzard of congratulations or there were no opinions about the timing if a visit (or could be bad breath). I'll get a mint and give it another try...
Congratulations to those who got approved!

I might have the opportunity to travel to the PI in time for either Mae's interview or her travel to the US (not both, though). Does anyone have an opinion what would be more helpful to be there for the interview or accompany her back?

(I managed to get a frequent flyer for her that happened to be July 4th, I'm not sure if that has any significance but it reminded me of the movie Avalon, one of my favorites).

-- Jeff

I was faced with this same dilema. My Fiance wanted me to come for her interview and also to excort her back. Trouble was that I did not have enough time on the books at work to stay more than 10 days. (8 days after travel time) I did not think it was a good idea to guess when her visa would be issued and get a ticket for the end of that time frame. Secondly, I did not have enough money with plane tickets to Manila costing about $1000 each to make two trips in hopefully less than a month. Consequently, I told me sweetheart it was one or the other. I would come for the interview and she would fly here alone or I would skip the interview and come to get her. She, bless her heart, told me she understood and without a complaint out of her lips said she wanted me there for her interview most of all. So that's what I am doing.

And good news is.....I hop on the plane tomorrow night for Manila!!! WOOOHOO!!!!:dance::dance: Can't wait to see my baby again!!!! Hope I remember everything! I gotta work tomight too and I haven't even started to pack! :o I am soooo bad! :P

Congrats to Dean and Gracia, Mike and Marivic, and CocoPuff on successful interviews. Congrats to all those that received their visas recently, especially to you Cora for such a long and agonzing wait. Congrats to Elmasguapo for great news on the medical results. I know I am probably missing someone here and I apologize for not keeping up. I will just say that I have read it here and congratulated you in my mind when I did, so you are now officially congratulated in print if I did not say it before.

Talk to you all later.....from Manila if not before. :D

Congrats on the delivery of your Visa for your son.

Seems many of us after you have been put on hold for some reason.

Our Visa has still not come.

As of today, in fact it still has not even left the Embassy.

I am starting to think we have been put on some sort of AR.

They have no explanations so far, and no replies as to why our Visa has not been released to Delbros. So I am starting to think something happened, and maybe they are rethinking them selves on our Visa, and I don't really know. They told her she was approved, told her she should have her Visa by Friday, and today is Friday, and it is not even released by the Embassy. So I guess I dont get it. Every step of the way, they have made sure they have made us wait even longer at every corner we have turned, even when our papers have been correct. So I guess having been married before, and bringing some one to the States has put us on the USCIS Highway to Hell. Maybe I am just getting ahead of myself, and there is a bigger explanation, but having no answers, and No Visa having been released a full week later is getting us down. And by the time they reopen on Monday , ity will have been 10 days and still at the Embassy. We have prayed every night, and are without answers anymore... Good luck to everyone still waiting, and those approved, and still waiting.

Just when we thought we were over the waits, let downs, and on our way, they have built yet another hurdle...It just isn't fair. I was hoping my Dear Rose would bee in my arms for my Birthday next weekend, and now, I'm not sure.

God bless Everyone...

Randy N Rose

Yeheeeeey! Delbros delivered my son’s visa this afternoon. El Mas Guapo, we’re relieved to hear the good news! Now, time to write your request for an expedited interview. Let us know developments. Kim Tung, any news on your visa?

hmmm...im a little worried now. i looked at my fiancee's visa and under the annotation it has my name spelled incorrectly. everything for her name to her A# is correct but the only part thats wrong is that in my last name, they transposed a letter. all my paperwork i submitted has my name spelled out correct as her petitioner and all of it was typed out. should we worry about this? or not since all of her information on the visa is correct already.

We are on the same boat here.. I got my visa last thursday and i noticed that my fiancees last name was misspelled in the annotation part too. Instead of his last name having 2 L's, they only put 1 L. Did you have a chance to call embassy already?? What do we need to do?? :help:

Hello everyone.....just want to know if the NBI clearance is sufficient in lieu of police clearances that one should get in places they've lived since 16 years old?......and is there a rule on what size of paper i should print the emails and chat logs?....thanks to anyone who would be kind enough to answer me :help::)

you will only need police clearances if you lived outside the Phils for more than 6 months/per country or place, if you have not lived abroad all you need is your NBI clearance. No rule on what size of paper you should use, you can use short or long coupon bonds, i printed mine on short bond paper

...thanks....i'm still waiting for NOA2 but i like to start working on some proofs i need to bring for the interview...our relationship is on its 8th year now and i'm not so sure how to go about printing emails and chat logs coz it's quite a lot....since you were kind enough to answer me i'll ask again what would you suggest i do....would it be enough to choose an email for each month for the entire 8 years?....thanks again.

Hi! It would be wise to have it all available but i don't think the CO will question much of your 8th year relationship  It is a sure approval for me  As long as all important documents are complete especially DS forms, BC, NBI, Police Cert, Ceno if applicable, I134, and other important dox in your case.

We are in our 4th year and we did prep all and we mean ALL (snail mails, emails, phone logs, etc for each year) and they only asked for 3 snail mails (original) and that's it. But as a good advise have everything available at least to cover 2-3 correspondence for each year and the most important is within the 2 year period when you applied for this petition and also include the current ones. Just be prepared with all the possible documents to support your relationship. You wouldn't know what they are going to ask until you get there. I know the whole process is stressful but you'll do great
