Hello all! Just had my state ID... it's a Non-Driving License  Last Friday, I had my first driving lessons from my husband and it was aweeeeeesommeeeeee! We're now on our AOS stage and waiting patiently for some movements... With all the applications submitted before July 30th, it looks like it's going to take awhile before we can hear from USCIS. ;)

Oh well...

i applied for a state ID but I was refused to cos they said, i have to adjust my status first bfore applying for it. sooo sad.

hi fellow pinay filers!

just wanna ask this boggling question in my mind.. during the interview with consular officer, are you going to give all your folders to him? or for example, he asks when was the last time you saw each other, are you going to give him the evidences of your meeting?

or the documents that pre-interviewer got from you will forward them to the CO and the CO will browse them during your interview?

hope to get a reply soon.

CONGRATULATIONS to those who already got their visa and enjoying their journey...

you're just going to answer whatever the question and hand what is asked, i remember this thing from PW that she said do not offer what is not asked, whether it's evidence or answer.

if he asks you when was the last time you saw each other, the answer is not your folder, but date when you last saw each other, if he said, and they would ask: do you have pictures together? that's when you show pictures, you have receipt of the engagement ring? you're just going to give what is asked.

Hi All, just a quick update. I got back from my biometrics appointment in Cleveland just now. This is for the AOS and EAD. It wasn't bad! I just noticed, though... they're not that strict about times. I mean, they don't mind if you come early :P I dunno about coming late though.. but I wouldn't even dare be late anyway.

Hope everyone's doing ok. Congrats to all the new approvals :)

Yes, you can open the plastic to get your passport but don't open the "envelop".

You can prepare all your evidences/documents in a folder. Just give them what they ask. In my case, when the pre-interviewer asked for the recent tax records, we gave them the whole folder which includes the I-864, employment/business receipts, ITR-2006. They also asked for the photos and I gave him one full folder of our photos arranged in chronological order (2005-2007) with captions. All those that the pre-interviewer asked from you will be forwarded to CO. CO will check on it and may ask few questions from it. In my case, the CO asked my husband about one of the picture in our folder. These will be returned to you except for some documents like NBI, BC, MC, CENOMAR (if they asked this from you) and the financial supporting documents. Good Luck!

guys just a quick question. if the pre-interviewer would ask for the affidavit of support, what would i give them? BTW im having a CO-sponsor. i will give him/her both I-134 from my petitioner and co-sponsor? should we need letter from the co-sponsor stating that they will be our co-sponsor or what? thanks

congratulations on the approvals and good luck for those upcoming interviews :)

When they ask for anything financial do as ading Helen said. Have a folder with everything thats related to finances [i-134 plus ITRs, bank letters, statements etc.] in ONE folder and hand it all the them.

Do the same with evidence of communication, photos, NSO certificates etc.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
