Ok, I admit it also. I'm getting nervous too! My fiance's interview is in 7 days and I'm leaving for Phils next Tuesday. God help us! We are having a party for my fiance at her parents house 2 days after the interview so we are pretty optimistic that it will go well. We expect to feed about 50 people!

I just wish the interview was over now! I'm having a hard time thinking about anything else. I call my fiance twice a day now since she doesn't have a computer handy. She has to travel by boat to the cafe ! My CP bill shows it! WAAAA

Kevin

Good luck to both of you Kev and Jena (for your interview) and for you Kevin-> have a safe trip. Feeding 50 people, that will be a grand celebration!!! Bon apetit!

it is natural to be nervous. just pray and think positively. the questions are all about the relationship and the circumstances sorrounding it. tel your lady to be prepared and to smile. for me the most nerve-wracking thing is waiting for the visa to arrive especially when you are texted by delbros that it is still in process at the embassy after waiting for a week. she has to travel by boat just to talk to you???????? where is her place??? anyway, if you are used to it you wont get seasick. in my case , the pre-interviewing officer and the consul asked very simple few questions not to mention they were very nice to me.

GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF YOU!!!!!!!

Hi friends,

No time to catch up on the forums right now, but I know you all want to hear, Fely's visa was approved. The CO wrote something on a piece of paper that had the words "Administrative review" printed on it, then she said "now you may go pay for your visa delivery." I asked if there would be further review, and she said they are finished. I asked if we were approved, she said "Yes." So I expect the visa delivery soon. Delbros tracking doesn't seem to be working. I'll post more details later. See ya.

Congrats! But why would she write the words: "Administrative Review" (AR)? Maybe they will do background/NSO checks before they release the visa?

Maybe It's approved subject to AR review? You cannot believe what the COs say.

It's been posted MANY times that COs told people they were approved and they end up on AR.

Sorry to be negative. That's the way things are in Manila.

Well whether she wrote AR on a paper or not, the bottom line is she told you that you are approved and you got to pay delbros. I think that means you will get your visa....hopefully soon since I believe you intended to fly back together. Congrats on passing the interview and getting approved!!!

WOW! You were quick! We are still waiting on the certified copy of the marriage certificate. :crying: We applied for her SS card so I can add her to my insurance, but it hasn't arrived either. Hope it will get here soon.

Take care and God bless!
