So......how many vets are we losing because some new folks do not know how to act in this thread???? Personally, I am taking my beef off line and moving on.....It is really sad because I think everyone has different experiences and perspectives to share and some of them can be most helpful and eye opening.

So...with that bit of footage....I sign out...this thread has become something I simply can not stomach.....It is really too bad that some new lady from the UK has decided to take something so "sweet" and turn it into personal attacks and personalize things.....

Kim, please don't go :crying: Maybe we should start voting people off the island!!!!

I am gone for awhile to because of things

Maybe in the future I will return but AG girl you have no clue what u have interupted or runied with your judgments here.

I'm starting to see a common equation here and I don't like it at all. Jax, please don't go :crying:

Oh my gosh my hubby says we can't find out until the day we have a kid. He researched my illness online and told me I had to have a section to make sure I was safe and baby. He is like my father I swear. We have our names already picked out. Do you guys have any names you both like?

Me and Tony can NOT agree on names :unsure: We're going to wait until we find out the sex so at least that will cut our options in half!! Jax, do you mean hubby wants you to have a C-section if you get pregnant???

I don't think ANYONE should leave the board. I don't care whether I agree with you or not. But it doesn't make sense to let other people and other people's opinions run you from someplace. I don't think anyone would say that this thread has not been helpful. I think it continues to be helpful, no matter what stage you're in, even if you're completely finished with paperwork.

Yes, I agree  It also helps the time go by when you're at work at 3am in the morning

I am putting together all my forms and collecting the info needed to file my CR1 visa. I started filling out some of the forms, just to give myself practice and I came across some questions:

1. On the I-130 where it asks for your spouses address, what did you put? Evan has only given me a PO Box address in Negril, I'm not sure if he has a physical street address on his house. Did anyone else have this problem? It seems they ask for the "street" address a couple of times on this form and the G325a.

2. Did you fill out your forms by hand in ink, or did you fill them out on the computer?

3. Also on I130 # 15 do they want to know Evans current place of work information in Jamaica? Or is this question only if your spouse is currently working in the US?

Thanks guys

1.) I think a LOT of us had that problem  Many JA houses/apt. do NOT have street numbers. When Tony tried to tell me his address I kept telling him he was missing parts of it!!! I think I just put down whatever he gave me.

2.) I did all mine on the computer. It just looks neater and you can fit more in.

3.) They want to know your fiance/spouse current work info. in Jamaica.

Yes, yes, and yes :thumbs: I agree with you Kim completely!!! This thread has been around for a long time now. Recently we've lost alot of our Veterans due to mean, rude, and un-called for comments. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!!!

Sounds good, except there might be disagreement as to what is rude and what is un-called for.

I hope no one leaves this thread. I personally learn from the good, the bad, and the ugly on here. And, everyone is entitled to their opinions, whether I agree with them or not.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

This is for those that are US/American Citizens...... you may want to check with the Embassy of the country you would be traveling to. You can travel to ANY US (domesitcally) including ...Hawaii, San Juan and Virgin Islands

You will need your passport and greencard to travel up to that point....you can only travel within the US territories.

Your greencard gets you back INTO the US.

Good morning/afternoon

It is really sad that these negative comments are still being carried on to a new day/new week. This is really getting us nowhere. I hope that things simmer down soon. I want things to improve here and I know that nothing is perfect, but seriously - there are so many ppl out there that need help and I'm almost certain that after newbies take a look into this forum and all they see is bickering and petty arguments, they bolt away from here like a bat out of hell.

Let's try to remember the purpose of this thread.
