I am doing well....Learned a lot about myself in the last week as well as my discoveries about MR MAN. Let me rephrase that because it sounds like I caught him doing something and that wasn't it... I really learned a lot about how people react to different situations based on upbringing, culture, exposure to the world and education (or lack there of). It has been real eye opening to a person who felt that she knew what she was dealing with.....WOW was I not even close to understanding what I had gotten myself into. What is comforting is chatting with others on the board who have surprisingly the same or very similar experiences and how they dealt with it....Just not really sure if I can or if I want to. I am still going to be here ... until I know...what the hell to do. Sorry for babbling on and on but if I sound a bit confused..... I AM.

You spoke things I have felt in my past as well. Sometimes you want things to work that just won't because of the very differences you mentioned. But, you want them so badly, you believe you can just work a little harder on them and they have just got to work out. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.

I'm glad you stepped back to access the situation and take an introspective look. If things work themselves out, I wish you well. If not, I'm so sorry. Just remember to take care of you no matter how things go.

No Clariey...not yet! What kills me is Ken is so patient! "Baby Girl, why yuh astress yuhself...it soon reach!" I guess living in JA, you have to be! . But, I've gotten spoiled living here in the U.S. and I am officially part of the NOW generation!! CHA!!! Anyway, I just let go and let God at this point. I know he'll see me through. I am seeing that July Filers from CSC are getting through so I am hoping VSC isn't too far behind! I am planning a trip to JA. in January regardless, so I fell a likkle better.

Thanks it may be only part of the issue but at least it helps me to understand reactions (his). And in answer to your previous question, yes after the fact we were able to discuss what happened and why....just not sure if it is a little too late. Only time will tell....

Hang in there girl For once, time is on your side! As slow as the Kingston Embassy is, you have plenty of time to make up your mind. Even if you do get assigned an interview date, you can always postpone it if you're still undecided. (A few people on here have postponed theirs) Better than starting the whole process over again if you do change your mind.
